what a fab stained glass retreat for a couple this weekend... it was her birthday treat... two nights accommodation with breakfast, lunch on the main day, 11 hours of private tuition (.5 hrs on arrival eve, one full day, 2.5 hrs on day of leaving), all materials provided

Two very different projects by this weekends couple here on a stained glass retreat... Copper foiled barn owl in moon.. And a coat of arms logo to do with some online sci-fi game, done with leading.... Both will be completed tomorrow morning

It was so lovely out today that we did our copper foiling outside. Lovely results from today's workshop

brilliant short day today with Dinah. She was sightly skeptical about leading but wanted to give it a go ..I think she is a convert... It's looking fabulous so far

and today through the round window..... "Sunny Bank". Large bold blocks of colour and some great textures as the recipient has limited sight... I'm really happy and feel sure it meets the brief

Wow, what an amazing day. Just finished doing a lead workshop with Bernie. I've learnt so much during this busy day. Nourished by homemade chicken noodle soup and delicious bread and plenty of coffee. Would highly recommend to anyone, whether it's learning to do stained glass using copper foil or using lead, you won't regret a single minute. Bernie is very patient and encouraging and I came away feeling so happy with what I'd achieved albeit with more than a little help. Thanks Bernie �

This was a wonderful weekend - two of us arrived as Glass Novices, and can’t believe how much we’ve learnt and that we’ve actually made our designs. Berni is a great teacher and so patient. And Cerdyn is a beautiful place to stay with fab breakfasts. Berni and Jon are lovely hosts (as are the hens). We hope to come back and improve our skills 😁👍

The very talented Berni Benton created the Reflexology panel that is proudly hung in my treatment room. My clients regularly comment about it.

Berni’s attention to detail is great, from the glass she picked to the mounting and framing. I was extremely lucky to find this gem of a lady and so happy she agreed to take on the commission.

Berni is extremely professional and a perfectionist. I would definitely recommend and am currently looking for a new photo to send her for another panel. THANK YOU so very much.

In 2017 Berni was one of the teachers who taught Stained Glass to a group of almost 30 of us, who had never done glass work before, and with her help, guidance and encouragement, we created the beautiful window in Myddfai Hall.

Berni is sincere, enthusiastic and so full of energy that she makes you feel you can do anything. What she helped us create has become a hobby for life, and allowed me to be part of a community project that will last a lifetime.

I would not hesitate to recommend booking on a course with Berni, for anyone who wants to let their creative self shine.

I had the privilege to study stained glass making for the first time with Berni this year. She is a fabulous, expert, generous teacher. I learned so much from her and continue to make stained glass now. Thanks Berni!!

Had a lovely day Saturday creating. Amazed that I was able, with Bernie's clear instructions, to complete a colourful glass flower for my pot. Bernie was patient, full of praise and encouragement throughout the day. She also ensured that the sun shone for us so we could enjoy lunch in her garden. A great introduction for a couple of novices to the world of stained glass art. Wonderful way to spend a day with Jackie Richards. Thank you Bernie.
