Being a home-run grooming business, Best in Show offers that familiar place for your pooch. We believe that grooming isn't just about making your pet look great but ensuring it's enjoyable for them so they feel as good as they look.

With this in mind, we use natural products where possible. We are proud to use products which are non-toxic, paraben free, phthalate free and phosphate free. The products are soap-free (soap can dry skin and remove necessary skin oil. ) and pH balanced to be ultra mild, even on sensitive skin.

The products used are made with human-grade ingredients and pure essential oils. We take great care using essential oils with a pregnant or lactating bitch and due to the stimulant nature, no products with essential oils will be used. The same care is taken with puppies and older dogs.

We are conscious that all products used by us have been ethically tested and we only buy from suppliers who can guarantee this.

We offer a range of services to suit the needs of your pet and we cater for all sizes; extra large breeds are no problem.

We offer:

Full Groom - your dog will be groomed out, removing dead hair and matts, then bathed. They will be fully dried with further dead hair and matts removed. They will be clipped /scissored as requested and their eyes and ears gently cleaned.

Bath and Groom-out - your dog will be groomed out, removing dead hair and matts. They will be bathed and dried, further removing dead hair and matts. Their eyes and ears will be gently cleaned.

Handstripping - a free consultation will be provided regarding this removal of dead hair. Prices on request and will be dependent on the condition and maintenance of the coat.

Paw Care packages - we have a number of paw care packages on offer.
1) Winter Paw Care - walking on wet ground and salt laden pavements can play havoc with our furry friends' paws. This package offers a paw soak, full dry, paw tidy and finishing with paw pad wax.
2) Pooch pedicure - this package includes nail clipping, nail polish and paw pad wax.

Wash, Cuddle and blow-dry - for those nervous pets who don't tend to like the dryer, they will have a bath and then a cuddle throughout being dried. The finish isn't always as good, but the furry-friends always go home happy!

De-Matting - free consultation provided and will only be offered if no distress would be caused to the dog.

Puppy packages - familiarisation visits, full puppy grooms include a bath, brush, face and feet trim and nail and ear care.

Re-familiarisation packages - these are offered when a dog has become nervous of going to the groomers. This will be discussed individually.
