This March, local dance school - GLD - will perform their annual 6 night show at Newport’s Dolman Theatre! So many GLD dancers are also members of BGC and therefore, the dance school has kindly offered a discount for any gymnasts/parents who would like to support their friends and the dance school! Discounted tickets are available for the Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday nights only, for gymnasts who are not also members of GLD. Please contact Georgia Stephenson for further details. More success at Grades 2019! Today saw our Grade 6 gymnasts compete and we are so proud to say that all passed with flying colours! 😍🎉 These girls have worked so hard to prepare for today and their hard work has truly paid off! We could not be prouder of their dedication and progress.
Firstly, we would like to say a HUGE well done to our youngest gymnast of the day - Isabelle Pinkstone - who competed in the incredibly tough in-age category, and went on to pass her grade 6 at ...just 7 years old 🤩 What an amazing achievement to pass in-age. Isabelle achieved some super high scores and represented the club beautifully!
Lowri Entwistle became the all-around champion in the OOA category! She also passed with commended! 🥇 Overall 🥇 Floor 🥇 Range and Conditioning 🥈 Beam 🥉 Vault 5️⃣th Bars
Eve Lloyd passed with commended! 🥈 Overall 🥇 Bars 🥇 Beam 🥈 Vault 🥉 Floor 🎖 Eve was awarded the judge’s award for her beam also!

Siân Fowler - Overall Grade 5 Champion in the OOA category! 😍 We are so unbelievably proud of this little one and all of her hard work and dedication in preparation for today’s competition. Her time, commitment and determination truly paid off. Siân was awarded the overall gold medal for the highest all-around score of the category, as well as taking top 3 placements on ALL pieces!
