We had a fabulous whole school trip yesterday to West Midland Safari Park... Here are a few pictures of what we saw...

This was done by a year 10 pupil as a gift for a member of staff today who is slightly potty about oinkers! Isn't it amazing??

Vacancy for School Secretary to join our Administration Team from September 2019. ... The successful applicant will have • Excellent social skills and be able to communicate confidently with a wide range of service users including professionals and pupils. • An excellent level of literacy and be confident to add literature to the school media and to write letters to parents. • Very strong organisational skills managing a challenging, busy reception area that is the first point of contact for any queries that come into school and from within school. • Experience and confidence at working with the ICT and the ‘office’ suite. Some knowledge of SAGE would be advantageous. The character traits we are looking for are very positive, up beat personality with a dynamic approach to problem solving. Whilst this is an office-based job, the nature of our business means that each team member needs to be able to think and act quickly, responding to situations as they arise. They will be able to manage the multiple demands of working in a busy atmosphere. Ideally, they would consider themselves a real ‘people person’. The applicant will need to have a clear DBS and provide two references, at least one of which is from an employment setting. These references will be able to evidence the requirements as noted above and an excellent level of attendance at previous employment.
This post is Salaried at £17,680 PRO RATA on a TERM TIME contract for 4 days a week (Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri) between the hours of 9.30 am and 3 pm.
