“And He has put in his heart the ability to teach, in him and Aholiab the son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan. He has filled them with skill to do all manner of work of the engraver and the designer and the tapestry maker. . . . those who do every work and those who design artistic works. (Exodus 35: 30-35 NKJV)

This passage of scripture was given to me by three different people during my time at Bible College and each one said they believed that God wanted me to use art and craft to fund myself alongside Church ministry. Ten years later, God is bringing that word to pass and it is an exciting journey indeed!

I am a passionate believer in the principle of positive affirmation and consistent intaking of God's Word, but gone are my days of scripture scribbled on post-it notes or written on pieces of paper; now I put such truth into artwork and create artwork from the truth, thus combining two passions and being able to put truth into art for your home as well.

Many of the designs you see have been created by request, but are also available for you to own too! My weeks are filled with the diverse adventure of pastoring Victory Church as part of a brilliant team of pastors and I consider myself incredibly honoured to be used by God in such a way. When certain days are through, however, there's little I need more than to sit before a pencil or a scalpel and some paper and card, and to get creative. My artwork is my source of income, which I believe God foresaw and planned when I was knit together in my mother's womb, but it is also a source of peaceful concentration and joy. It's one thing to know that someone loves your art enough to buy it, but it's another thing to know that you are delivering truth and encouragement through that artwork as well.
