Billboard Ensemble Description
BillBoard Ensemble was formed in 1996 and is Barry’s premiere Amateur Dramatics company. However, there is nothing amateur about this company; often staging firsts in the Vale area BillBoard have wowed local audiences for years with such hit shows as: “Anything Goes”, “Crazy for You”, “Me and My Girl”, “Little Shop of Horrors”, “Thoroughly Modern Millie”, “Copacabana” and an annual Christmas pantomime. We have a large junior section, which perform their own shows. Junior productions include “The Jungle Book”, “Honk” and “Skool and Crossbones”.
Shows are staged in the Barry Memorial hall Theatre and local theatres including The Paget Rooms and the Wales Millennium Centre. With almost 100 members, spectacular scenery and costumes, large orchestras and an abundance of talent, a BillBoard production is a feast for the senses! !

Auditions for new junior members for our summer production of Fame Jr. Tomorrow only at Cadoxton moors community centre, Barry 3-5pm. Just turn up no appointments nesessary. Please prepare a song that shows off your vocal talents with or without a backing track. Due to the nature of the show there will be choreography to learn so please wear sensible footwear. For ages 7-16yrs We look forward to meeting you xxxx
BillBoard Juniors will be holding auditions for new members for their summer musical Fame Jr. If you are between 7 and 16 years old pop down to Cadoxton Moors community centre just off Edmund place on Sunday the 13th of January from 3-5pm. If you’d like to be part of 9 to 5, please email billboardauditions@yahoo.com. The audition pack is being finalised over the next few days so they’ll get sent out ASAP. Auditions for new adult chorus members and principals 16yrs + are on January 25th 7:30pm onwards at Cadoxton moors community centre, Barry. This will be a workshop style audition.

It really is a warm and welcoming group fit for people of all ages. The people are extremely friendly and lively, and the productions they do are simply magical, especially the pantomimes. Glad I joined.
