Visited 3 weeks ago with my wife for evening meal. Very relaxed with nice staff. They have a nice lounge to sit, peruse the menu and order. Reasonably priced good house wine too.
After several visits with our dogs I couldn't recommend it more highly. Great size rooms and beautiful food. But most importantly this is a truly dog friendly hotel. Our old Jackies love it. And it's in the middle of Beaumaris and near enough next to the sea. Love it!
Restaurant: Dated decor but fantastic food and atmosphere.
Not a bad hotel in a good location. The room we had didn't seem to have been occupied for a while. The fist night it was rather cold and the sheets even felt a bit damp. The milk was out of date. It was warm and dry for the second night and they changed the milk promptly when it was pointed out, but not really good enough.

Fantastic food great friendly staff
Bishopsgate is a very characterful hotel. None of the floors are level and the doors seem to lean but this all adds to the quaint style. Its not another bland, average box of rooms. Its a place that excites the senses and makes you intrigued. It encourages you to look about whilst offering a relaxing and restful stay. That said, we felt the furnishings were looking a bit tired and the carpets in the room were a bit stained here and there. Brekfast was good but croissants were a bit stale and only luke warm. These are small criticisms but enough to knock a couple of stars off top hotel standard. All in all, good value.
Very close to sea front, shops and attractions. Warm, cosy decor. Superb service from staff. Food choice and quality made an extremely good quality dining experience. Wines well chosen list
Altogether a great experience and will look forward to our next visit.
