Welcome to the ultimate mountain biking experience set in the heart of the breathtakingly natural beauty of The Black Mountains. Situated just five miles north of Abergavenny, the Gateway to Wales, we have a cycle centre which will inspire and excite and is guaranteed to take your breath away!
The Black Mountains Cycle Centre is predominantly a downhill and free ride centre which has been designed by renowned riders and trail designers Shaun Bevan and Gary Broad. They have joined forces to design a course which is unique to the UK. We can boast a trail that features a dramatic bridge, large table tops, flowy berms and the country’s best jump line set on a working hill farm in beautiful unspoilt rural Wales. We aim to challenge enthusiasts of all abilities. The centre is in it’s infancy and there are plans to perfect and develop further breath taking trails to excite every one!

To avoid any disappointment please note we have NO UPLIFT AVAILABILITY left on Good Friday, Easter Saturday and Sunday . We have 20 PUSH UP AND RIDE spaces available for each day, we recommend that these are booked on line. Please do not turn up and hope that there is space .

recommend this place highly/got a really good feel to it and something for everyone.Been here afew times now and always come away buzzing.The runs ride really well in all weather conditions and top marks for the tractor boys that always manage to get us up to the top in good time!!

Wicked trails, wicked organisers, and don’t bring food at least on the weekend; they have a burger van!!!!
Turned up on Friday afternoon with my hard tail, wasn't sure if it would be suitable but stuck mainly to the blue runs and it was excellent. The trails are spot on for giving you the chance to let the brakes off but with natural turns back in the the mountain to slow you down too. It was nice to ride somewhere with a much more natural feel to it than most trail centers. I think trail craft have this place spot on.
The best trails I've ridden - smashing down the Full Moto is unbelievably addictive and the newly made Tidy Darts isn't far off as good. Chilled and friendly vibe from everyone there.
Spent an uplift day here with my wife in mid July. Had a brilliant day and found all the trails from blue to black in really good condition with many options. The tractor trailer uplift was great with no stop for lunch �. Nice & relaxed but efficient as well. Will definitely be coming again when next in wonderful South Wales.
Rode here yesterday and was blown away by it, did BPW the day before and thought it would be an anti-climax but boy was I wrong! I recommend anyone to ride here we travelled 6hrs and it was well worth it! �
My 3rd visit to black mountains this Sunday. My favourite place to ride in U.K, wicked trails and uplift service is fast (no queues even though the car park was full). Unfortunately my day ended with a bad crash and a broken ankle. Just want to say thanks to the staff who helped me back down to the car park when I couldn't walk! Will be back when healed!
Laid back atmosphere with friendly staff , The runs range from I don't have much bike talent to full on crazy , Only thing that could improve BM is some on site catering . Ps get some xxl T shirts sorted for the big lads :p

As someone new to downhilling, this novice couldn’t have asked for a better place to do their first uplift. The blue runs get you nicely warmed and the reds were great fun. I’d come back time and time again. I’m sure once I have the skill set the Black runs will be super fun also. So in short, awesome place, awesome atmosphere, awesome trails.
Trails are awesome! Super flowing and fast! Something for everyone and really improved my riding over the day.
Uplift was fast and officiant and all but one of the uplift staff were very helpful.
Would have given 5 stars but facilities are super basic and the one men’s porter loo took a beating over the day and was pretty bad a 10am on arrival�
