Blade Trail

Singletrack MTB trail.

Afan Forest Park's Blade trail is a fantastic addition to the local trail network. With lots of freshly cut singletrack sections it combines with some of the established 'classics' like Peregrine Ridge and Joyrider offering a great trip for more experienced riders. Sharing the same technical singletrack climb out of Glyncorrwg with White's Level it gives access to higher and more remote sections of the forest with amazing views over the Brecon Beacons. It twists and winds through the distant forest with some tough technical climbs before dropping back over the hill for fast flowing descents and the new final rush back down to Glyncorrwg.

If you want to add some more distance to your ride you can also add in the top loop of the old 'Skyline' trail with some fantastic and remote singletrack sections. Make sure you are properly equipped as this extra loop takes you to a very remote area where changeable weather conditions could test your resources to the extreme.
