Farm Park tourist attraction in llandudno. Cafe, bar, BBQ & courtyard garden. Home to North Wales owl trust and feed the goats, deer and llamas. Sun terrace overlooking a play area & play fort, tractor & Pony rides and ride on tractors.

Bodafon Farm Park Description

Welcome to Bodafon Farm Park, A genuine working Welsh farm attraction. Cafe open every day 10 am - 5pm with private parties, functions or bookings after 5pm in Winter.

Bodafon Farm Park is only a stone’s throw from the sea front in beautiful Llandudno, TripAdvisors No1 Seaside Destination 2017– it’s just off the Promenade towards the Little Orme by the fields. You can’t miss it.

When you feel like a rest from feeding the animals, relax and feed yourself in the Cartwheel Café.
Or if the weather’s kind eat outdoors in the large courtyard area whilst watching the animals in the surrounding paddocks.

Bodafon Farm park is BIG, and there’s so much more to see out in the fields and paddocks – but don’t worry – the tractor and trailer rides around the farm will make sure you see everything!

We had a wonderful day at Bodafon for our wedding blessing. Rebecca and Mandy did a superb job of decorating the function room, it looks beautiful. Nothing was too much trouble. The courtyard was stunning with beautiful hanging baskets and the BBQ was lovely with plenty of food for everyone. Thank you so much to mark and all the staff for a perfect day

User

We absolutely loved it, sat out onthe terrace and had some lunch which was just beautiful, the atmosphere was great playing Spanish type music which felt like you could be in a Spanish taverna with the beautiful flowers all around just simply perfect, we then walked around and spent time looking at the birds of prey, the children loved having a ride on the ponies couldn't have asked for anything else, a lovely couple of hours spent on a Sunday afternoon

User

The best Sunday roast ever! Inexpensive but superior in belly filling loveliness! Veggie option did not mean the forgotten option at all!

Even the meat eater had a big smile with the biggest homemade Yorkshire!

User

Really lovely set up, plenty of play space for the children and the food in the cafe is really exceptional (and will happily admit I'm a food snob), we will definitely be back.

A gorgeous little gem of a place. Perfect for everyone, young and old. Ancient woodland, stunning views, events galore, deeeeelicious cake and happy animals.... what's not to love

User

nice farm and the owl place is definetly worth it, the only reason it lost a star for me is because I noticed with the tractor rides being every hour a group of about 10 people decided that they weren't waiting for 50 mins(they just missed one) and decided to leave, that is 10 people that would have gone on tractor- lost money that is going to the upkeep of the farm and animals! otherwise I think it was good, pony rides could have been longer but tractor ride was long so made up for it slightly. x

User

Took my son for the first time today, he really enjoyed it, so did we to be fair. Only problem was that we couldn't take our own picnic. I know it's on a farm and there is farm dogs about too, which is fine. But I think a little enclosed picnic area would be nice (Saves me spending £10.50 :| on cake) Also around the kids area was a little bit of animal poo. Not too sure if it was the dogs. But maybe a little bit more fencing for the play area or something, just so the kids (and adults!) don't step in it. And also maybe a sign that says what time the tractor is leaving. But overall it was enjoyable. Will be back again! :)

User

I visited Bodafon farm with 2 of my grandchildren for the afternoon. Plenty to see and do and the kids had a great time in the castle playing for a long time. The only drawback were the 2 digs that were allowed to roam around the play area . And the dog dirt we also saw by the eating area. Woul£ I go back? Yes .

User

Amazing place. Lots for kids to do. The staff are friendly and helpful and the food is amazing and reasonably priced. The only slight downfall is the cafe can get really busy and the queue to order food can get long and can be slow at moving.

User

We've visited before and had a lovely time. Went last week and even though the food was lovely, the place didn't seem as clean as last year and there are less animals. The chicken coop was really unclean. The main problem being the owners dogs pooing and then it seemed like a problem when we and others asked for it to be cleaned up. Dogs full stop shouldn't be permitted there. It really put us off.

User

We visited today and had breakfast. For £8.95 we did think it was a bit expensive for what you got. Service was good.

Now lets talk about the Llama...

On arrival we saw a member of staff screaming and running away from it (should have been a sign). While eating I heard a staff member commenting on how the llama was scaring visitors away. My partner wanted to get his coat from the car and asked a member of staff if he was safe to pass who said he was fine. My partner is a 6 foot 1 and a physically fit male and was attacked. He didn't do anything to aggravate him and was walking to the car when the llama just ran straight towards him. Initially he tried to ignore him but then he tried to kick him, bite his face and has bitten his leg. The skin is not broken. He had to duck underneath a broken fence to escape. Although this is hilarious for me (i'm pretty sure anyone within a mile radius heard me laughing), my partner made the point that if it was a child or someone holding a baby it wouldn't have been so funny. I really think you need to review your safety around him. Before he or someone else gets hurt.

I was really disappointed after having my daughters 3rd birthday party here over the weekend. It took me 3 attempts to book this party as I was told they were too busy to book over the phone and to text then I was ignored (I should have known at this point) anyway I continued as my daughter absolutely loves visiting this beautiful little farm. When we arrived we were told I had to wait in the cafe area to count how many exact numbers arrived (these are 3 year olds wanting to run riot) I confirmed with staff the number and she advised someone would take us down for a pony ride.. I waited a while went back and she said oh he’s gone down already go down. So we all went down, there was no pony. Luckily after 10 minutes the pony arrived and a few had their rides then the guy disappeared over to another event... so I gathered everyone for the tractor ride, only for all the carriages to get filled up by other people visiting the farm (therefore myself, husband and my baby couldn’t fit into the carriage) I found a member of staff (bear in mind it’s quite a distance running back and forth to the main area especially with a baby in tow) who advised that they didn’t know where the tractor driver was, couldn’t find him and to sit put and wait (it was cold and windy at this point) eventually he came and did get everyone off accept our party and we took off... a tractor filled of 3 year olds and a baby and he sped down one lane, I slipped backwards and my daughter and her friend banged their heads together (which you can imagine caused a lot of upset) the food was served quite quickly when we arrived back and was yummy and all the kids enjoyed it. However bringing the party bags out (8 came first) 11 in my party... young toddlers all want them at the same time...and it took a while for the next batch to come out. Upon leaving just as I thought we managed to keep all the kids sweet and was ready to leave... on the website it shows £10 pp (the website still

shows this) but I was then told no it’s actually £12 pp. I was not impressed to say the least. Maybe a dedicated party person to support on the day would help? Time slots for the pony ride and tractor ride so the children can also enjoy being at the farm rather than struggling to keep them all in one place not wanting them to miss out. A 2* from me for the food and the fact that the kids enjoyed themselves but wouldn’t book a party here again unless improved.

Also the wooden castle is an amazing play area for children when used correctly (no fault

of the farm owners) but a toddler in my party was pushed backwards out of one of the holes/windows (I am not entirely sure what they are) by someone visiting the farm and fell onto the hard ground resulting in him having to leave and be taken to A&E, possibly the holes need some form of covering up? As I don’t really see a purpose for them as the castle is too high for even older children to climb out of them etc.
