Fantastic to see so many Players, Parents and Friends from Borras Park Albion YFC attend the Racecourse today as part of a local grassroots football day organised by Borras School's Mr Stock. Approximately 1300 players and parents from clubs across the region boosted the attendance today of which around 200 came from Borras Park Albion. Our attending teams were mentioned in the matchday programme along with team photos. The match ended 1-0 to Wrexham which keeps the pressure on our rivals at the top of the league.

Back in April last year we learned of the passing of Borras Park Albion's Founder and former Chairman Bob Groom. At the time our Football Club made a donation to the Family Charity to celebrate and remember what Bob created 40 years ago in this community.
Shortly before Christmas we received the following letter and photo from Haywood Grove School in Hemel Hempsted (see attached photos). Please do spare a few moment to read the letter, it was lovely to learn that much thought had gone into the donation and where it was to be used focusing on the values of team sport and creating opportunity, Bob would be very proud! Well done eveyone, and good luck to Haywood Grove School in your football matches.
