We are pleased to announce that our first live singer in the Lounge Bar will be Jeff Phillips and his amazing tribute performance as the timeless Neil Diamond
- Saturday 21st April at 8.30pm.....limited seats and space, so be early!!
The evening is jointly supported from the Lynn and her staff from the "Cutting Room" hairdressers and of course, the Boverton Castle.....Enjoy!

Dear All, just a quick update.....Wifi, phones, card machines all now up and running.
We are currently looking at a new menu that we hope to be introduced over the coming weeks, but in the meantime please enjoy the lounge bar for a quiet chat and get together with your pals !
Obviously we will have the rugby available over the next weekend, and we will ensure some half-time food is provided for the Welsh game.

Hi all, many thanks for your messages of support, both personally and in general, that the best pub in Boverton continues to be a big part of our community. Just a little update to keep everybody informed (and help manage expectations 👌)....We shall now be opening as from 1pm this Thursday. What can I say! If you ever visit here, it's a must to come here and have a meal. I arrived in Llantwit Major on Sunday, came here for tea. It's beautiful, highly recommended. So much so, that as I am writing this review, I am sat in the Boverton Castle again, having another meal. Yet again top notch meal. Friendly staff and lovely service

This pub became my new local when we moved to Boverton from St Athan, old village end......and I'm so glad it did. Excellent food, good atmosphere, clean facilities, staff are great too. If you're looking for somewhere local for a Sunday lunch, or pub food on any other day for that matter, then you would struggle greatly to find somewhere better. A+ from me �

These guys sure know their 'onions' the food is awesome, the staff are fantastic and the kitchen is spotless, i always make a point of finding out 'sad i know' but i like to see where my grub is made, #foodmadewithlove

Not just a great pub with great food but their function room is spot on. I recently had a party there and the buffet was out of this world. So many of my guests rang me the morning after to comment on the wonderful food. Highly recommend this friendly pub to all .����

Just had an amazing meal at the Bovy Castle! The sharing starter platter was incredible and huge!!!! We couldn't even finish our mains which were delicious too!!! Staff were lovely too!!! ��

Have been here several time food is always lovely. Deserts to die for. Mark, Jackie and staff are very friendly host. Nothing is to hard for them, we asked for a bread and butter pudding on booking once and Mark made it specially for us..

Had a wedding reception there was well worth the money I would recommend it been bk a few times when I travel from Scotland.....

Boverton Castle has the best pub grub in llantwit Major, prices are very reasonable but best of all, the real ale is superbly kept at correct temperature making this pub by far the best in town.
