Who are Bragdy Twt Lol ~ The Trefforest Brewery?Established in 2015, based on a foundation of home brewing, real ale enthusiasm and trade experience we strive to be different from the other commercial breweries. At Bragdy Twt Lol we understand you want to try new experiences and whilst you have your preferred tastes, you'll always like to sample other beers and flavours to see what you might be missing! At Bragdy Twt Lol we're developing our ale range, innovating on a small enough scale to be able to try things larger breweries wouldn't dare, giving you the innovation and variety you deserve. Known as the Trefforest Brewery in English and in Welsh Bragdy Twt Lol, which is pronounced brag-dee, toot (like foot) lol, our name can be interpreted in a variety of ways. Bragdy means brew house or brewery, twt means small and /or tidy and lol means fun. In Welsh however, twt lol can also mean mischievous fun, hence a reference to some of the folklore which has inspired many of our ales.
