Bramble Cottage is in the grounds of the Penrallt Hotel which is currently being refurbished to open in Summer 2019 x
We totally loved our three night long weekend stay in Bramble Cottage. The cottage is wonderful , it is so relaxing. It is fully equipped with everything you will need for a break away from home. Everything was spotless and the kitchen has everything you need. I particularly loved the finishing touches too, such as candles , lamps , drinks cabinet, toiletries and I loved the nautical theme pictures , cushions, bedding and accessories. We were fortunate enough to have good weather and it was great to sit outside on comfortable garden furniture too. From the minute we unlocked the door we totally relaxed. It is in a great location too, near Aberporth Beach and a couple of minutes drive to Tresaith Beach and the area is totally unspoilt. I would highly recommend this cottage if you and your family are thinking of spending time in Aberporth.
We have just come home from a fantastic 4 nights in Bramble Cottage. The cottage is beautiful, clean and cosy, we felt right at home. Our 17 month old and 3 year old were well catered for with the facilities at the cottage - the high chair and travel cot provided saved us plenty of boot space! The blackout blinds in the bedrooms are a godsend- we all managed to sleep in later than usual! The children loved walks around the grounds, playing on the green and visiting the sheep in the neighbouring fields.
Cottage aside, the village of Aberporth is lovely - our highlight was watching dolphins from Aberporth beach whilst eating ice creams. We also visited and would recommend Carmarthen Island farm park, Newquay, Tresaith and Llangrannog.
We couldn’t have been happier with our stay in Bramble Cottage- definitely worth a stay!
I stayed at Bramble Cottage over May bank holiday & had a lovely relaxing stay!
The cottage is well equipped and we’d been left a pint of milk & some Welshcakes which was a nice little touch!
The cottage is well located and we visited Cardigan which was 9 miles away, Newquay which was 14 miles, as well as Aberporth which we walked to but the hill coming back up is a challenge, it was worth it for the beach views & delicious food in the Ship pub!
I took my mum who absolutely loved it & we will definitely book to stay again! �
