Smart little cafe with a wide range of good brunch options. I had the burrito - would have benefited for more chorizo and peppers (it was 95% egg). Great service.

Nice place good service and food

Could be incredible... let down a little by execution, such as replacing what was supposed to be toasted sourdough with a cheap whole meal burger bap in the poached eggs and avacado dish. You also get the sense a lot of the food comes from one of the food service companies like Brakes and is just warmed up. If they got a decent exec chef in, shortened the menu- this could be the Granger & Co of Cardiff. It's also unacceptable from a service point of view accepting only cash... seeing customers around me having to go for a five minute walk just to get cash to pay the bill is really not good.

I dont live in the area but popped in with my husband for a lunchtime meal when we were out and about. We chose the chicken pie from the specials board and the corned beef hash from the main menu, both were absolutely delicious and more importantly served piping hot. Very good value for money and definitely worth the wait. The atmosphere was relaxed, with a nice bit of music playing in the background and the staff were cheerful and friendly. We will definitely be calling in again when we are next in the area...

The large breakfast is delicious and filling but slightly over priced, the coffee is the same, The "large" coffee isn't really large a medium at best,

In summary : lovely food, slightly slow service & slightly over priced compared to others close by.
I would definitely go bk tho 👍
