Breathe Ministries is overseen by a body of trustees who have appointed Phil and Marie-Anne Joiner as their main facilitators of the the ministry of retreat, restoration, training and inspiration that Breathe was founded to provide.

Phil and Marie–Anne have over 20 years experience in church leadership, community re-generation and youth work. They have developed a depth of understanding in leadership, teaching, mentoring, counselling, worship, hospitality and teamwork. Their observations and experience have taught them that there is a clear need for leaders to consistently live well, lead well and rest well to remain effective and stay the distance. In addition, they understand that there are unique pressures and expectations that are placed on spouses and children of leaders, which often are overlooked and not catered for.

Their ministry has allowed them to develop a broad network of relationships across many different denominations, church networks and Christian organisations.

Phil & Marie-Anne have been married for over 26 years and have 3 children. They open their home at The Cwm as a retreat for those on the front line of influence to see them inspired to go make history for God.
