About Brecon 10
The “BRECON 10” takes place in the beautiful and picturesque market town of Brecon, Powys, at the foothills of the well-known Brecon Beacons.
Brecon 10 Description
The event started in 1984 is popular with athletes from all over the UK.
The course has been accurately measured and has an Athletics Association of Wales permit. For the serious runner it is a fast course and anyone looking to gain a Personal Best should consider the Brecon 10 to achieve it. There are many prize categories and all participants receive a commemorative event tee shirt. For the not so serious or ambitious runner there is also a 2 Mile Off Road Fun Run. This is ideal for juniors and all the family. As with the main race this starts and finishes on the athletic track with the remainder being run on grass.
