Beautiful scenic area with countless walks and places to explore. Don't expect a theme park or many rainy day attractions, this is the great outdoors! There are some castles, etc, intact enough (ie. with roofs) for those rainy days. Impossible to write a complete review, but suffice to say it's well worth a visit if you enjoy walking, etc.

Really beautiful national park. Great open landscapes and hills with wild sheep and ponys. The path up pen y fan is very well maintained. Go for a walk and enjoy

Went for a family walk on Sunday up Pen-y-fan. Parked at Storey Arms. Car park was heaving but managed to squeeze in. 3 food vans serving rolls, tea and coffee etc. Toilets. Absolutely loads of people walking, with children, dogs. Quite a strenuous walk I found. Glorious views at the top. Really lovely day.

Fantastic well maintained paths. Some of the more popular areas get very busy and parking is difficult. Research walks more off the beaten track, some are stunning especially the horseshoe from the reservoir

Always adored this National Park. Despite its location close to the densest area of population in Wales it is a haven of tranquility. A place where solitude can be found. Yet there is always something going on that you can enjoy with others, whether it be walking, riding ( horses or bikes), climbing, flying, gliding, eating, drinking, fishing .... etc. Beautiful views abound, canals and lakes add to the beauty. The Park also has Dark Skies Status so even the hours if darkness have something to offer (see website for details and events).
In short, a wonderful National Park for all to enjoy ....

One of the best places to walk in the UK. Easy to get too off the motorway and always friendly. I cannot recommend it enough.

Great challenging walk environment, great for long distance hikes

Beautiful park and since it was raining the whole time i remembered the books on SAS training and realised i wasn't made to be a soldier! More like a bookworm in a warm library!

One of the most breathtaking places on the planet.. Beautiful. But always take essentials. Food phone and warm clothing. Let people know where you are going
