Brecon Cathedral Shop & Heritage Centre

Shop-adjacent to Pilgrims Tearooms-sells Christian /general gifts; Heritage Centre shows history of Cathedral and can be hired: in 17th-century Tithe Barn.

Entrance to the Heritage Centre is free of charge; it incorporates a fascinating exhibition on the history of the Cathedral and the medieval bell-frame which was taken from the Cathedral and installed with life-sized replica bells . All profits from sales in the adjacent Shop help to conserve the historic Tithe Barn buildings and to support the Cathedral Church of St John the Evangelist, Brecon (Diocese of Swansea and Brecon, Church in Wales).

The Cathedral is situated in the tranquil walled Close of medieval foundation (unique in Wales) in the beautiful Brecon Beacons National Park.
