We are open again!! Now operating as a bottle shop and food takeout!
In order to follow the government advice regarding social distancing and staying safe, we advise anyone wanting to shop or order from us to call ahead on 01874 622353 and we can take your order, payment and set a time slot for collection.
We ask for no more than two customers in the shop at any given time and all handling of goods will be done by a member of our staff.
... We are doing our bit to both help the community and ensure the safety of our staff and customers during this trying time.

Introducing Tap Take Out starting Tomorrow!
In light of the announcement for all pubs and restaurants to shut, we will be offering a take-away service during these difficult times. We have a dedicated take out menu now available. When you order food from us you can pop in and place an order or call on 01874 622353 and you will be given a time slot to collect your food.
The front end of our restaurant is now being converted into a dedicated bottle shop with a wide range of b...ottles of craft ales and beers for sale.
We will also be able to sell draft cask and keg by the pint to take out if you bring your own container (empty milk cartons work great).
Our new opening hours will be as follows: Monday-Wednesday 12pm-8pm Thursday – Saturday 12pm-3pm and 5pm-9pm Sunday Closed.
When in our shop we will also be following the social distancing rules, so please only 2 people at a time.

Following the uncertainty felt by many left by Covid-19 (Corona Virus) we are hoping to remain open, take new bookings and honour all existing bookings, until advised otherwise. If you want to make or cancel a booking, please phone on 01847 622353 and let us know.
We have already started taking measures to help reduce the spread. Anti-viral wipes behind the bar for everyone’s use, along with regular wiping of tables and across the bar at regular intervals. We would also like... to take this opportunity to urge those who do come and visit to use cashless payment. Anything that helps.
Stay updated as we are currently in the process of planning a delivery service to reach those in need and those self-isolating, in order make sure you have the essentials at home… Pies and Pints!
