Just eaten a super meal at this hotel/restaurant just set back from the road. One steak, guiness and ale pie and mash... One chicken, leak and ham pie with chips. Both delicious. Lots of meat in each. A top hat of puff pastry... nice and crisp.. and a real highlight was a dish each of veg... mashed swede, brocolli, spring greens and sliced carrots all cooked perfectly. Cleared our plates but feel rather too full now!!! Greedy us.
Delightful and helpful young staff do credit to this nice traditional plus plus pub.
£10.95 for each meal

Booked a meal for 10 people the day before and they fitted us in easily. I had already looked on TripAdvisor and seen the good reviews, as we were stopping just up the road in self catering. On arrival we were shown to our table by very pleasant and professional staff. Our order was taken quickly despite the pub being nearly full, it was a monday night, 7pm, there were a few things not on the menu but we chose something else.
The food arrived quickly and piping hot, very well cooked including the veg, no complaints from anyone on the standard of food, my son ate a full adults portion of lasagne and our meals ranged from steak to curry, all were cooked superbly and arrived together. A great family evening was had by all. My husband tried the Unicorn beer which was "very nice" he said.
The wifi is free and the code is written on a chalk board at the bar if you ask.
We would definitely return.

Robinsons brewery house, as most are on Anglesy, good beer selection, large menu, possibly a little too large, however extremely tasty. Atmosphere is that of a traditional British Pub. Dog friendly in certain areas.
