We have some dates for your diaries!
This Sunday 14th July we have music from the wonderful Vincent Cross from the USA performing Americana music from 3.30pm onwards.
Sunday 28th July we have the return of Swamp Candy, no introduction needed! Again from 3.30pm onwards.
... Sunday 18th August we are holding a Thai Banquet. It’s £18 a head and will be ticket only! Please if you want a ticket get them ASAP because they will be first come first served. These Thai banquets are always amazing with a fantastic selection of food. Also this evening is a Motown and Soul disco provided by Graham Wiblin.
And last but not least...
THE BRIDGE END 10th ANNIVERSARY BEER FESTIVAL.
Friday 23rd August - Monday 26th August. Our best festival to date celebrating 10 years of the Bridge End. There will be music throughout the weekend with a fantastic selection of ales on offer, gin bar and lovely home cooked food.

Tomorrow afternoon we will be having a barbecue outside starting around 3pm. Vegetarians will also be catered for.

Don't forgot this Sunday the 26th, Swamp Candy will be playing from mid afternoon onwards - American time! A tips jar will be passed around to give you a chance to show your appreciation in addition to the fee paid by the pub.

Last Thursday the 16th of May, the charity quiz raised a grand total of £305 in aid of nightingale house including a generous donation from Steve Griffin of SG Estates. Thank you to all who attended and helped raise the money.

Thursday 11th April was a 10 year celebration of the reopening of the Bridge End. It was a lovely evening of music and food. Thank you to everyone who came and for all the cards and gifts, it is very much appreciated.
We extend an open invitation on Easter Sunday to celebrate our 10th Easter. There will be music and Easter cake from 4pm-6pm.

Stevie j .Kramer is returning to the Bridge End Sun 17th march .He will play from 3pm .

Mr George Formstone had many friends and drinking companions in the pub and village who will give him a fitting send off. He was a very private man who disliked fuss.

The funeral of George Formstone is to be held at Plas Acton Cemetery next Thursday, 31st January at 10.30am. Everyone is welcome to join us in the Bridge End for refreshments afterwards.
