Bridgend Sports Rfc Minis & Juniors

Bridgend Sports RFC mini's and junior's section provides rugby coaching for children from the ages of 5 years to 16 years.

Bridgend Sports RFC mini's and junior's section is one of the fastest growing junior rugby clubs in South Wales. The section was established in 2007 with the aim of providing quality rugby coaching for children from the age of 5 years to 16 years old. Bridgend Sports RFC has a core ethos of inclusion for all and enjoyment. It is therefore pleasing there are currently approximately 240 children registered with the mini and junior section.

All registered children have the opportunity to take part in weekly training sessions that take place on the Bandstand area of Newbridge Fields. In the winter months, some training sessions take place at Heronsbridge, Broadlands and Brynteg School.

All children love the team spirit with the Sports and particularly enjoy the weekly rugby matches that take place every Sunday throughout the season at various locations across South Wales – September to April.
