These riding stables are great, our Grandaughter has learned to ride here. Visiting every holiday since she was 7. The staff are brilliant, relaxed and friendly, an ideal learning environment. The ponies are mild tempered, and safety a high priority. Each holiday she's spent 2 full days learning all aspects of owning a pony, from grooming, feeding and mucking out to trotting and cantering. She's confident and happy around the ponies, and now proficient enough to go for a 6 kilometre hack. We thoroughly recommend this riding centre.

Do not go to this riding centre, they are an extortionate establishment preying on unsuspecting holiday makers. They have absolutely no health and safety measures in place and care very little for their customers. We attended the centre on 24/10/17 hoping to have a nice day out as advertised however this was nothing but the truth. Firstly none of us were sized for riding helmets to ensure a proper fit but were told to pick our own, as this was a small issue we chose to continue with our day. There was absolutely no schedule for the day and we were often times left standing out in the cold with nothing to do and no horses in sight. The staff were very unfriendly, they did not introduce themselves by name and barely spoke to any of us throughout the day, when they did they were generally ill tempered. Following the whole helmet incident all of the riding gear was not properly checked to ensure that it was safe and an ill fitted saddle caused my 16 year old sister to actually fall off her horse. I complained that my stirrups were not adjusted correctly and they brushed this off as fine however when riding at times I could not reach them and am now in a significant amount of pain as a result of being thrown around without anything to properly balance my weight on. So all of this was bad enough, until they left my 8 year old cousin completely unattended on top of a horse and she almost slid off as well, luckily this did not happen but an 8 year old should never be left alone in that situation. The cafe was not open and the horses seemed to be clearly over ridden so by this time we had decided that enough was enough and finished the day early. I lodged a complaint with the manager who after all of this was only willing to refund £32 out of the £128 that we had paid for this complete lack of service. As I did nit feel in a position to argue as I was so shaken and worried for the girls I left with this and my auntie called up later on only to be completely dismissed by the management. Whatever you do please do not fall for this scam of a riding school and keep funding them to continue their negligence. I will be persuing this further with the local health and safety authorities as we were lucky to not have been injured any more than we were. Complete waste of time and money.

When I went here, there were ,any dangers on the floor e.g. Screws, pins and even a horse shoes nail was on the floor!
The horse that I rode was not very well kept and trained, she kept on trying to canter when I didn't want her to, and her back legs were covered in DRIED poo!
Would NOT recommend going here or leaving your horse in livery here!
