Just a reminder that our kitchen will be closed tomorrow night from 5pm because Martin will be hosting the Brewery tour... still a few spaces left on the coach if anyone fancies a trip to Middleton to see how the beer is made at J W Lees :-)
Martin hosting the trip means no Chef though, so unfortunately we won't be serving food tomorrow (Tues) night. Normal service resumed by Wednesday. Apologies...

Tuesday 25th September
We still have a few places left on the bus for our J.W.Lees Brewery tour on Tuesday 25th September. Tour of the brewery followed by a few refreshments, the only charge is for your bus seat and it's a fun evening out.
If interested, call us up or call in to book a place.

For everyone asking - yes we'll be showing the England v. Sweden match at 3pm tomorrow.
We've actually had a chap email to ask if he's allowed to wear his England shirt in our pub (which of course he is!! and it's heartbreaking to me that anyone would feel they had to ask) so just wanted to pre-warn anyone that may be offended by a red & white shirt, England supporters or a bunch of English chaps running after a ball that they may want to stay at home til it's all over ;-)
PS. Anyone is, of course, also perfectly welcome to wear a Swedish shirt tomorrow and come along and support Sweden. You may get things thrown at you if England lose... but you are perfectly welcome ;-)
