Brooklyn Kennels And Cattery

Nice kennels, friendly owners and a very happy dog when we picked him up.

We boarded our two dogs here this weekend and are very happy with the care shown to Poppy and Willow. The owner was very understanding when we dropped the girls off. We had previously had a poor experience with a different kennels and were nervous about leaving them in kennels for a family wedding. We needn't have worried, both dogs were happy and showed no signs of stress when we picked them up. The owner had even put the gravy from their Sunday roast on Poppy's dry food to encourage her to eat it. Would definitely use Brooklyn Kennels again.

We left our very old border collie here once about 5/6 years ago so it has probably changed hands since but she has kept in a dark and cold kennel at the end and when we went to pick her up her coat was matted terribly and she was tied up outside on a chain as apparently she had barked at another dog, which was very out of character for her. She seemed very unhappy and was very timid on the first day we bought her home and ducked down as if she was going to be hit every time a voice was raised slightly which she had never done before and certainly had never been hit by us before.
I'm hoping that due to all the lovely reviews on here recently it must of changed hands and I hope you are doing a better job than the old owners (I think they owned a few Bernese Mountain Dogs if I remember correctly).
