Bryn Artro Country House (Permanently Closed)

What an amazing place, service is second to none, beautiful food, please stay here.

Don't believe these good reviews they are more likely put there by the property owner rather than genuine guests.
Just arrived here after previous booking for my wife and myself did explain that we would be arriving late evening no problem he says yet when we turned up this evening the place is empty and locked up with plenty of delivered mail behind the porch door .
So dispondentley had to leave and as we had been driving from Manchester 3.45 mins.wasn't up to driving all the way back.
Yet there wasn't a mobile signal to be had nor mobile Internet
So we drove up to Caernarfon where we booked into the Celtic for the night.
We ended up staying the two nights this will another review
The stay at the Bryn Artro had been paid for on a woucher so we see this as theft and will be pursuing that Avenue to regain our hard earned money back.

Brillant place lovely food

Nice location. Rooms and bathrooms in need of a refurbishment.
Dinner was disappointing. Overcooked and tasteless.
Service was awkward. Greeted by the chef when we arrived. Throughout our meal the server stood and played on a tablet.

Lovely hotel in a converted country house. Room was well presented with all the usual amenities (tea/coffee making facilities, TV, WiFi, etc.)
Staff were very helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was great.
This is a dog friendly hotel, so there may be some during your stay. Ours enjoyed the garden and surrounding walks.
