As the sun sets once again upon Bryn Bella we take stock on one of the most fantastic weeks we have experienced in years. The Eisteddfod Genedlaethol Cymru has now finished and all our distinguished guest from the Gorsedd have left. It was thirty years ago since the Eisteddfod was last here and I suspect it will be the same before it returns, but as a legacy of all things Welsh it will last for a long time to come.

This is the best news so far this week. Following the floods earlier this year we have been without our little train to Betws-y-Coed. But thanks to the National Eisteddfod next month the work went ahead at a furious pace and now it due to reopen once again.
