I stayed in a room and it was gross. There were stains on the carpet, the sheets were bobbled and old (they felt like they hadn't been washed for months), the room was smelly and the bathroom light broke on the first day.
The food there was also disgusting, everyone said the meet was disgusting (because I am vegetarian I had the vegitarin option and that was probably worse than the meat)
The pictures online are nothing like the real thing. I would defiantly NOT recommend this place. It is a hole!

We camped here Sept, 2016. It costs 5 pounds per person to camp, which is great! But you can also stay in the lodge or rent one of their cabins. The trails to Afan Forest are literally right there and after your long day of biking, you can refresh yourself in the showers available. You can also purchase tokens to spray your bikes down. Food is amazing. Full Welsh breakfast is served. There is a burger shack that is opened during the day and there are a variety of options for dinner. In the lodge, you can help yourself to some beers that are in the fridge that you just write down on a tally sheet and pay at the end of your stay. Great place. Easy. All your basics and very friendly staff!

We have used the cabins at Bryn Bettws Lodge as our base for the last 13 trips to South Wales for our mountain biking expeditions.

The facilities and location are absolutely perfect, and the team in the lodge are so friendly and helpful. The full Welsh breakfast before hitting the trails each morning is a bonus.

The cabins are excellent, and the views are outstanding.. We will continue to be using the cabins for future visits.
