Bryn Meadows Golf Hotel & Spa

Attended a wedding here. It's a beautiful location. The drinks were a bit pricey though.

Myself and my mother visiting Bryn meadows for a spa day and afternoon tea. We had a lovely day. All staff were very friendly. Treatments were lovely. Glad restaurant was busy because of a wedding but we were served quickly.

Lovely views, beautiful hotel with great customer service. The gym was pretty good too. The only down side is that the rooms are a little antiquated, TV was quite small, plugs quite far from the bed and the TV in the bathroom didn't work.

Excellent course, fast greens with challenging pins. It's a wolf in sheep's clothing. Greenkeeper seems to have little regard for players, but I suppose that's the price you pay for a well maintained course. Pro & clubhouse staff make up for it, attentive & friendly. Beer prices can make your eyes water, pie, mash & gravy for a bit less than £6 excellent value. Visit on Tuesday or Thursday you can have a round of golf & pie, mash & gravy £18.

Have spent a golf and spa long weekend here. The ladies at the reception were extremely friendly and helpful. Our room was in great and clean condition.
Food was a bit pricey however was very well presented and delicious.
We had 3 rounds of golf and could say the course is very challenging given that you need to go up and down hills all the time! You could find a couple of doglegs as well as holes with lakes.
Spa and gym are also available there.
Would recommend the place anyone who wants to spend an active weekend somewhere in Wales.

We went for a pretty wedding meeting. Me and my partner met with Gavin. He was very welcoming and an excellent host.

Bad side was room air conditioning is louder than an airplane and we booked a double room which turns out it's two single beds zipped together. The good is the staff are lovely, it's clean, the beds are very comfy, the spa and gym is small but comprehensive. Free Wi-Fi oh and the best breakfast I've had in a hotel. The restaurant is very nice to eat in too.

Bryn Meadows is in a lovely place. There is quite a nice atmosphere, though I would say that at times some staff are abrupt around the times that their shifts finish. Food is okay - golf is rather good and no significant side winds etc to report. I telephoned to use the health suite once - and was put off with the way that the call handler answered the call - but that might relate to my point about shift times. Great place for conferences - catering is very good. Just go with an open mind.
