Llandrindod Wells, steeped in history, has its own 13-acre lake, built as a visitor attraction in the Victorian era. Today, it was covered in mist but the resident wildlife didn't seem to mind.

It's never the wrong time of year to visit mid-Wales!

Brynderw B&B is situated in beautiful Welsh countryside. This is less than 5 minutes drive from the B&B!

If you want peace and quiet in a beautiful setting you can't beat mid-Wales :)

Stella and I are very proud to have been successful in our first photo competition since moving to Wales and setting up the B&B.

Still finding lovely places to explore just a few minutes drive from Brynderw. This is the common land to the east of Brynderw which is fantastic for birdwatching with plenty of winter thrushes and finches enjoying the bumper crops of rowan berries.

Enjoyed a peaceful walk along the Ithon from Shaky Bridge this afternoon. It was good to see the Kingfisher again, and three female Goosanders taking flight.
