PACT means, Parents and Children together! Come and spend some time in the nursery and we will provide some beautiful festivities for you all to enjoy together!
Please note ONLY Buds will be participating in the Christmas production this year due to health and safety, numbers in the building and parking!
We close for Christmas on Friday 21st and reopen Wednesday 2nd January!

Light Atelier ūüí°
As a Reggio Emilia Inspired setting we have always used light as a tool to explore. Our recent visit to Reggio Emilia has led us to a whole level of using light as a material. Over the last few weeks we have been observing our children exploring different light sources . Its been beautiful; wide-eyed children completely engrossed in the magic of light. Light, how it can be manipulated, how it manipulates other materials, is an extraordinary tool for learning ...and exploring!
Going with our children’s interest we’ve revamped one of our learning environments into a n Atelier of light and wonderful opportunities to explore!

Tonight’s Reggio Emilia Approach staff meeting!
We are all very excited! ūüė¨ūüė¨ūüė¨ūüė¨ūüė¨

Our sprout children have recently shown a great interest in reflections. The exploration of reflections sparks a child’s natural curiosity for the world around them. The opportunities for language and communication development are endless, with the children eager to share what they can see in the mirror. The staff encourage lots of descriptive language by continuously asking open ended questions. The development of social interactions throughout has been evident as the childr...en are excited to hear what the other children can see and they are intrigued at how they can see each other in the mirror. The use of mirrors have allowed the children to see the world from an alternative perspective and has left our children in awe!

I‚Äôm finding it hard to put into words what this week has meant to me...I‚Äôm completely overwhelmed with the whole experience and what I‚Äôve learnt is unbelievably valuable as a person and a professional in early education. I feel so lucky to have shared this experience with so many like minded and enthusiastic people that actually care about children‚Äôs rights and continue this fight to change peoples prospective on what‚Äôs ‚Äúbest‚ÄĚ for our children and their education.
It might b...e the end of my trip to Reggio Emilia BUT the very beginning of something so beautiful. Our staff meeting is booked in for next week and the Buds to Blossoms team will be inspired with this wonderful approach to early education.
Our children will ‚Äėblossom‚Äô and we will help them climb their own mountains, as high as possible. No one can do any more!!!!

Day 2 - Loris Malaguzzi International Centre- Auditorium
Sat in a room with like minded people from over 30 different countries is just an incredible feeling all sharing the same passion and drive for early education. We learnt so much about where it all began and lots of theory behind the Reggio approach.
In the afternoon session the room was divided into smaller groups and we got bused to different settings...I was lucky enough to visit an infant toddler centre who cater ...for children 6 months to over 23 months. Unfortunately we weren’t allowed to take photos at these settings but I feel so lucky and honoured to say I’ve been and experienced a Reggio Emilia setting first hand.
The ideas and inspiration from this visit is incredible, but also I’ve learnt that Buds to Blossoms already have lots of elements of the Reggio Approach embedded into our daily practice already.

Day 1 -
Good morning from the very beautiful Reggio Emilia!
Yesterday we arrived at this beautiful B&B a quick freshen up and off we went went to explore the city of Reggio Emilia, with a few pit stops along the way. Volunteers of the Foundation Reggio Children took us on a guided walking tour through the old town as a lovely introduction to the historical and cultural attractions of Reggio Emilia. On the tour we bumped into some amazing like minded people. We had dinner in ...a beautiful restaurant and had sampled some of the local parma ham, cheese, pasta and wine. We talked early years education, child development and of course the Reggio Emilia approach taking inspiration from each others experiences!
Today is our first conference at the Loris Malaguzzi International Centre- Auditorium, very excited!

So today I travel to London In time for a very exciting journey to Italy tomorrow morning. I’ll be taking part in a one-week study visit to learn about and be inspired by the world renowned educational approach of the preschools and infant toddler centres of Reggio Emilia. This course will explore the key principles underpinning the Reggio approach to early childhood education including: lectures, presentations, discussion groups, exhibition...s and of course visits to preschools and infant-toddler centres.
To say I’m very excited is an understatement, I will post lost of updates of my trip... I’m already looking forward to coming back and sharing this fantastic experience with the staff and children at Buds to Blossoms!

Wooooooop! We have 2,000 LIKES!!!

The staff are brilliant with my twins so warm and caring . They Taylor to each child's needs and wants. I wouldn't have them go anywhere else ! I love the learning through play motto and so do the twins ! The nursery is changing all the time to keep their imagination growing .

Well done everyone and thankyou ! X

Thats layla all kitted out for nursery. I cant believe she is starting her education as of tomorrow. A huge thankyou to wiggly gigglys/now buds to blossom nursery for looking after layla since she was 2 years old. A lovely bunch of girls that i felt comfortable in leaving my child with. She has grown into an independant confident clever funny little girl.. and im sad she has to leave.. layla will miss you all...but its time for her to begin her big girls adventure.. nursery school‚ô°

My son Blake goes to this day nursery and I must say that it is a very educational and fun place to send your children. They are very experienced and hold a high food hygiene rating on not only their Beaufort Campus but also Cwm too.



We get on with all staff members and are quick to assist with any questions or concerns that we may have. I do not regret sending my son here and will be doing the same with my next child as he has come on leaps and bounds with his walking, speech and much more.



I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a day nursery. #budstoblossoms

I would like to thank Buds to Blossom for the exceptional childcare they provide my two children aged 4 & 2. The staff go above and beyond and I love how friendly they are. I can go to work and relax knowing not only are they being given fantastic learning opportunities with the great activities but also peace of mind that the staff take pride in focusing on the individual needs and are so caring. Communication is great and I enjoy hearing and reading about the day they have had. Last week my daughter moved up and was great to hear them praising her and how she has developed.Thanks Buds

I would like to thank All the staff for Making Kaitlin so welcome and providing Excellent childcare ....She absolutely loves coming every Morning and And loves telling us and showing us what she has been doing everyday ...I think it is Fantastic that she has a report sheet every day telling us what she has eat and drank and what she has done that day ....My husbund can never pick her up due to work commitments so for him to see that sheet after work and talk to her about it is Amazing ....ÔŅĹÔŅĹ ÔŅĹ

I can’t speak highly enough of Buds and the amazing staff. Lee you’ve done a fantastic job of realising your dream. Alfie has come on leaps & bounds and I can’t wait to see what he learns and brings home in 2018. All staff are enthusiastic and genuinely care about the kids. Me and Neil know he’s being looked after to the highest standards which is a huge reassurance, I Love it!! Xx

I cant thank everyone at buds to blossoms enough, they all absolutely go above and beyond for every child and truly are an amazing team, my little man has problems with his speech and so i was very worried how he would settle in but i cudn't be happier with how he became one of the little buds to blossoms family, will be very sorry when he has to move on in April but will always be very grateful to each and every one of you for the brilliant start he was given x

Fantastic nursery with brilliant staff! My children love it there and have both developed so much with there speech, play and confidence. The staff are fantastic and great with the kids. Everyone is very friendly and always smiling which makes it easy to leave the children because you know they will be looked after and have fun. Since the new ownership the Reggio Emilia approach has been adopted meaning the children are playing outside in all weather and learning using natural sources which both my kids love!

Edie loved her time at buds. All the staff are lovely they really got to know her and were marvellous with her settling her in and she was soon excited about going everyday . As a parent you get to meet and know all the staff caring for your child. Edie loved all the activities that were on offer. She would come home singing songs and rhymes. Her imagination has developed and she would often come home and role play her day. She loved meeting the firemen, making snow angels, playing with the real teapot and getting ready for the Christmas play. The staff were great at interacting and caring for the children. They were patient when I rang in every day to make sure that she was OK and great at handover time. Everyone seemed to know edie's name and made her feel welcomed every day. The nursery itself is great with lots of space for play and activities on offer. The children are offered the opportunity to learn about the world around them, seasons, people, they learn about celebrations such as Christmas etc. The themes are regularly refreshed and updated. The children are encouraged to play creatively and to join in with story time, snack time, hand washing and brushing their teeth.

I have been highly impressed with buds and all their staff. I would highly recommend the nursery to others.
