Thank you to everyone who came to our Easter egg hunt yesterday and helped look after our baby lambs. An even bigger thank you to everyone who entered our 'how many eggs?' competition - the correct amount was 618! Although no one guessed correctly, CHRIS THOMAS was the closest with a guess of 615! Congratulations Chris! Together with our Easter egg hamper raffle we raised a total of £186.50 for St Buenos Church!

**Competition time!!** Our Easter bunny is closely guarding this jar of chocolate eggs but, if you can guess how many eggs are in it - it's yours!! You will be able to register your guess at the bar from tomorrow (15th March) - each guess costs 50p with all money raised being donated to St Buenos church - the winner will be announced on Sunday 1st April! Egg-cellent! 🍫🥚🐇🐰

Went for lunch with my Hubby had chilli and chips the chilli was absolutely delicious very friendly and lovely log fire will definitely be back again next week xxxx

We had never been to this pub and so my brother and wife was taking us out for lunch , a friend had mention this pub , so phoned this morning to book a table and we arrived to all the staff very friendly and so lovely , made us feel really welcome ,it had a really cozy feel to the pub , log fires alight , we all enjoyed the Roast dinner and we all said we haven't had a dinner like that for a very long time, Absolutely Delicious, and the puddings well so yummy . So thank you so much to all the staff and manager and chef , we will be back .

We called in for Sunday lunch & phoned up to book the day before. Fantastic food, lovely cosy atmosphere with a nice open roaring in the middle of the pub. Really nice helpful & friendly staff too. We will no doubt be calling in again!

This place is great - consistently good food , great atmosphere , friendly staff who go the extra mile to make you feel welcome. Absolutely 5 stat !!

Never thought donna kebab and chips in a pub would work but it was really nice. Staff were very friendly and helpful. They also were very accommodating of my guide dog which, although a legal requirement, was very much appreciated. Staff were also more than happy to take family photo for us too. Highly recommended

Lovely home cooked meal, Great Service, Polite & Efficient Staff...

Had a lovely meal here tonight with my family � couldn't fault anything!! Good was on point!! And the cider went down lovely and brilliant service from the girls..

Food is exceptional, beer is well kept, great atmosphere.

Amazing food , lovely staff , good selection of drinks, open fire and beautiful village location . Can recommend the Sunday roasts and the bar meals . Best meal locally . By far .

A gorgeous meal for me and my husband (he had gammon which was huge and I had Seabass served with spiral vegetables) both yummy and was served by lovely friendly staff! Highly recommend to eat here! Will be back ��

Our first time visiting the bull & heifer. We are on holiday celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary and thought it looked a lovely village pub only 8 minutes from where we was staying. The food was really nice and all the staff were friendly and polite the only thing I could say that worry me was after we had eaten our puddings the waitress asked my husband if the cheesecake was ok? He said yes the waitress then went on to say "oh it's ok they was just wondering if it was ok only it was made a few days ago" I think she could see our expression on our faces drop and then changed it to "oh not the other day I mean yesterday" Has this is a homemade pudding I think if they needed to ask then maybe they shouldn't have been serving it! My husband did suffer with his stomach after which for that reason I have only given 4* we would return if in the area but would give the puddings a miss.

Nice atmosphere , good food, sunday lunch was fine and we enjoyed our visit...
