Excellent new chip shop, best around we would give them 11 out of 10, excellent staff, family friendly all round and dog friendly. Can't wait till may to be there.

Stayed here for August bank holiday, It is just a short walk from here to the train station into Tenby, - this is the best thing about the place. The toilets and showers were never clean. They don't adhere to the 3 metre rule between tents, motothomes etc. people just park up where they feel like it. There are notices up asking campers to be respectful of others by switching off loud music by 10pm and total silence by 12am, however there weren't many campers that actually did this, some were still playing swingball at 2am in the morning, not good when you have young children with you. This is one site I will never return to, and wouldn't recommend it to anyone either.

Plain and simple..the state of the toilets was simply a blocked mess, looked dirty constantly and very little care in there, showers you have to pay for £1 for 10minutes then the showers are awfully cold and slow, first night our tent broke due to wind AMD we were told we couldn't use their bins or wed have to pay them £30/40 to use they're bins? We also then drove through to our tent same speed as everyone else at a safe speed, and were told we were speeding dangerously? Staff and service was awful and other than the fact there's grass here its awful.

Having booked this campsite at short notice for the bank holiday weekend and being told we couldn't have an electric hook up for less than three nights, we accepted a three night booking using the logic that although we probably couldn't stay three nights we might stay until late on the last day and make the most of the weekend.

Other reviewers on other review sites mention the state of the site etc and we could go on about it too (it's far from decent) but what you need to know is that the owner allows low life to stay on the site. We were woken at about 2am by a loud and what escalated in to a violent row from our next door neighbours. The volume and language was beyond anything we have experienced before and my wife was extremely scared of what might happen next as punches were being thrown and stuff hurled about violently. One drunk member of the family then got in his car, revved it up and drove off the site at at speed, only to return later and it all kicked off again. Someone on the site did go and raise the owner (the police should have been called in our opinion) and then we heard him come and talk to the family. He was positively jovial with them and we could hear him ticking them off lightly and then even laughing with them. As soon as he left it started again and it went on with foul language, hysterical screaming, shouting and car doors being slammed until gone 4am. There was a small child in their party, what a disgrace that a child had to witness that, not to mention all the children in the vicinity that must have been woken up by it and frightened.

The next morning the owner had made himself scarce and although the disturbance was the talk of the campsite, no-one was authorised to talk to us and give us our money back. We hung around until 2pm before finally deciding that as our holiday was ruined we would leave, although in an effort to intimidate us the car parked next door had been moved so we couldn't open the drivers door of our motorhome. No-one did anything about ejecting the trouble makers and the next day they were swanning about arrogantly as if nothing had happened. I have since discovered they were allowed to stay for more nights. Other staff said they were appalled by what had happened and that we should get a refund but after waiting 4 days for a call the owner has now refused to refund our other two nights.

There are lots of lovely sites in Pembrokeshire and it was our great misfortune to have ended up at this one. There is a lovely site in Manorbier that we spent the rest of our holiday at and the owners know how to treat people. The owners of Buttlyand are money-grabbing and genuinely don't care about anyone or their safety. Avoid at all costs.
