Friendly and clean. Perfect.

Really nice campsite. Facilities are clean, nice and new. Straight, green grass so pitch up tent it's really easy. A lot of space. Quite area next to lake and railway station so a lot of possibilities to do in spare time.

We've spent 5 nights here and have no complaints. The room was generous and clean. Overall this is a modernised old house at the end of the village, next to an old (and tiny) rail station that only works in summertime. The room and house was very warm despite below zero temperatures outdoors. There was generous breakfast and all day hot drinks. Ample parking and friendly owners who also run a lively pub in walking distance.

Loved it ...peacefull ....a place to chill ... had a brilliant week and will be booking for next year and hope they start doing season pitches so i can go every weekend

Great secluded spot. We were left to our own devices. Had a blast beautiful at first light. Left our place clean and happy!

Fires allowed ...tent electric hook ups ...only downside is would of liked to pitch tent down by stream but no hookups there .
