Muchas gracias Cristina Pereda Postigo y Maria Acuarela! Estoy encantada con la acogida que está teniendo la exposición y agradecida a todos los que la habéis visitado. Todavía estáis a tiempo de verla, ya que estará abierta hasta el día 29 de marzo en la sala de "Ámbito Cultural" de El Corte Inglés que está en el piso de arriba entre la librería y la zona de arte. Espero que os guste!

My mum, my idol! My Mum is 90 and is an artist. She still gets up early every morning to do her painting. On Fridays she teaches in an adult school and she is willing to learn and discover new techniques. Sometimes she cannot wait to get home and reflect into a paper what she has seen or learned!!!
I wish I was like her; always smiling, always looking at the bright side of life, always grateful to God for everything she has received.
... We grew up surrounded by paints and brushes. Art makes you appreciate the beauty and adapt your sight to see a painting in every landscape, seascape or flower. On endless occasions I find myself thinking (aloud) what a watercolour day this is!!!
Thank you Mum and Dad for all you did! especially in this post I would like to thank you for introducing us into art and showing us how to appreciate beauty!!!
Mi madre, mi ídolo! Mi madre tiene 90 años y es pintora. Cada día se sigue levantando pronto para pintar. Los viernes da clases de acuarela en un centro para adultos y le encanta! También le gusta aprender y descubrir nuevas técnicas. A veces está deseando llegar a casa para poner en práctica lo que ha visto o aprendido! Me encantaría ser como ella; siempre sonriente, siempre viendo la parte positiva de la vida, siempre dando gracias a Dios por todo lo que le ha dado. Nosotros crecimos rodeados de pinceles y pinturas. El arte te hace apreciar la belleza de todo lo que te rodea. Cuantas veces habré dicho, que día o paisaje tan de acuarela!!! Gracias Mamá y Papá por todo lo que habéis hecho por nosotros. Y sobre todo en este contexto; gracias por enseñarnos a apreciar la belleza!

We connected immediately, as she transmitted calm and positive impressions. She suggested I created a logo for her Avocado & Beyond Health Coach company and I accepted without hesitation. When I started thinking about the design, I thought I should take a risk, from a different perspective; in the end, the logo will tell the clients... what makes your business unique...
