Sourced from the Languedoc region of France, it’s just been awarded a silver medal at the International Wine Challenge.

Went there yesterday for a family meal had heard some good reviews from people I knew who had been there and I wasn’t disappointed. Although it was very busy we were served promptly and efficiently by the staff who were very friendly and helpful, and the food was delicious definitely worth another visit.

Went here for our 45th wedding anniversary. We had 2 Kir Royale’s on the house as we had mentioned it was our anniversary. Lovely meal and great service.

We went to Cardiff just to change some Christmas presents. We did intend to go to Miller & Carter as we couldn’t get a table the Saturday before Christmas as it was reservations only. It used to be that you couldn’t book there but would have to just turn up and wait for a table. The rule has changed now and you have to pre-book on weekends �. We weren’t too disappointed as the food at Côte Brasserie was just delicious. I’ve been there before and will definitely return. �

We went here today on a whim. In Cardiff for my birthday and we needed some breakfast. Walking past we spied the menu and thought we'd try it out. SO glad we did! The welcome was pleasant, the food came quickly and it was fabulous. I had the french breakfast and I've never tasted black pudding like it. So tasty. The scramble was lovely, everything worked well together. My cappuccino? Best I've ever had. My fiancée had Eggs Benedict and enjoyed it. He even said he'd pay for train fair just to come and have a breakfast here! Highly recommended!

Was at the Restaurant yesterday lunchtime. This was our second visit. Our friends were 15 minutes late but we weren’t made to feel awkward by the staff for holding on to the table till they turned up. The service and food was excellent and I would recommend it to anyone.

The food was excellent. The service very good. Only thing I would say is that the portions are small.

Superb food. Outstanding service. My husband's steak was perfect. French food wouldn't ordinarily have been my first choice but now I'm a convert. I have been disappointed with several neighbouring restaurants so if you're undecided you should eat here. If you prefer not to be disturbed eat inside as you will be approached by homeless people (Cardiff seems to have a disproportionate amount of folk who are down on their luck) but that really doesn't bother me. Thank you we will be back soon. :-D

Starter didn’t turn up, it was served to the wrong table! Dan the waiter appologised and resolved the issue. It did take sometime so Cote offered to pay the whole bill, starters, mains, deserts and drinks!!! The mistake was acknowledged and they went above and beyond in customer service which is rare today. Well done Cote and week done Dan!!! The food was also superb!!!

On a Shopping trip with a friend we found this lovelly restaurant. Excellent service, with the lunchtine menu being extremely good value. The food is first class and have returned several times to try the different optiobs on the menu and have never been disappointed.

Lovely set menu , excellent value for money , prompt polite and efficient service too ! My only criticism is that it would be nice if there was vegetables included / as an add on to the main meal . I chose the chicken and gratin potatoes , vegetables would be nicer than watercress .

Had travelled to Cardiff to watch a band it was pouring with rain and freezing cold and Cotes looked so warm and inviting we decided to try it. We had the set menu 2 courses £11.95. The food was amazing excellent value for money. Staff were friendly and attentive. Definitely go back

Fabulous service from very professional and friendly staff. The food was lovely & great value for money too. I recommend the chocolate mousse for a light but full on chocolate fix.

Best mussels I've ever had and the pan roasted belly pork was amazing, melted in the mouth with a lush crunchy crackling on top. Service was fab, only had to look up and a someone was available.

Been here twice and both times had excellent service and delicious food. We only decided to try it out for a change and so glad we did. Great location too. The set menus are very good value and we didn’t need a dessert.

Excellent service, exquisite fillet steak , accompanied by a large glass of Cotes Du Rhône. Would definitely recommend a visit you won’t be disappointed.
