Cader Idris Mountain Race, is one of the toughest mountain races in the UK, it starts and finishes from the town of Dolgellau. The distance is approx 10. 5miles with 2927ft of climbing.

The 2019 Cader Idris Race is now FULL, congratulations to those of you that got in, apologies to those who didnt. NOTE: there is no waiting list in operation this year. If you get a place and subsequently can't run you will need to find someone to transfer your place to (full instructions provided on your confirmation email), feel free to advertise on the race Facebook page to find someone who is looking for a place or transfer it to a friend or fellow Club member. Another great race to be held in Dolgellau on the 28th of July. No mountains on this one but a stunning 5mile road race. Come and have a go 😁

Ran this for the first time in 2016 and I've been looking forward to doing it again ever since. Brilliant race and well organised.
Perfect day out up a mountain, lovely friendly race with lot of hard work involved.
Took a tumble on the way down nearly knocking myself out but survived to tell the tale.
