We found the ice cream sundies excellent and staff very pleasant but on the negative side after spending over £70.with you yesterday for grand parents, mum and dad with 3 children aged 2,4.and 7 that while trying to dress them for adverse weather we found ourselves very disappointed with the staff reactions by moving our tables, chairs from around us with the introduction of other customers about us to??? We are really saddened at having to ask you rectify this for future visits for all potential customers!!!

This place is a great place just to pick up a range of ice creams. My personal favourite is that salted caramel on a waffle cone however everyone has their own taste. What will be agreed is that the ice cream are top quality. However there is more to this place than just ice cream cones. It is also a cafe that does an excellent lunch. There are loads of ice cream sundaes, waffles and crepes. Also if you get a window seat, the views are amazing! Love it!

This is not simply a good place for ice cream, it's an institution. There's an excellent range of lovely ice creams. A cone to take away for the beach is a joy but you could try eating in too. The sundaes can be big, so make sure you're hungry but, if you just want a cup of tea, then that's fine too. It's family friendly, has views over the sea and, if you're really lucky, you might even catch a glimpse of a dolphin or two. You can't really beat that on a day by the sea.

We are returning customers of 60+ years, 5 generations of our family all loved your famous vanilla ice cream. My husband's mother used to live in Criccieth and so the family always made a special trip up each summer - which we always ended up in cadwaladers without fail each day! We haven't been to Criccieth in 4 years, last week we made the special 3 hour journey as it had been 10 years since my mother in law died. She is buried in the cemetery overlooking Criccieth, we always go into Criccieth and re-live our holidays, sit by the beach and eat your amazing ice cream.
Unfortunately you have changed your recipe, usually when you walk in the parlour we used to smell the ice cream, it had a distinctive taste and smell. With a 100 years of experience, between the three of us, we all knew straight away you have changed the recipe. It honestly spoilt the trip down memory lane. We spoke to my late mother in laws family and friends who still live in Criccieth and they already knew about the recipe change and said it happened 3 years ago - as a result they refuse to buy your ice cream anymore.

As long returning customers we are so disappointed you have changed what was once the most amazing ice cream in the world. We urge you to please return to your roots, change the recipe back to its former glory.

Unfortunately, there are no alternatives for people with a dairy allergy. We are a family of 5 and with one dairy allergic daughter, she is excluded from enjoying anything here.
There are some lovely alternative venues that provide sorbet of various flavours as well as really lovely ice cream. We go there now.

Go here all the time, when ever im in Criccieth! Lovely view from the back of the ice cream shop! and equally nice tasting food! Great service, and would be happy to pay that price for the quality and service. Nice cosy location!
