Our regulars will know that we are very grateful to our fav Ken. Ken helps us out no end and has done tirelessly for the past six years. He is our friend, confidant, adopted Grandad, helper, washer upper, dog walker, flower deliverer......the list goes on. Ken celebrated a very big birthday this year so as a thank you we all sent him off on a train to stay in London for the weekend to see the Trooping Of The Colours, he had an absolute ball 💂🏼‍♀️👸🏻🤴🏻🎡 Thank you to Merfin for... chaperoning Ken and for all his efforts and arranging the trip, thanks also to David Jones for the successful securing of the tickets and extras 🙌🏽 We agree that Ken is the most selfless and kind gentleman we know and we all love him dearly. Thank you Ken for everything you do for us, you’re a star 🌟

We’re looking for two new recruits to work after school hours (3.30pm - approx 5.30pm) You will need to commit to regular days and be reliable. Please only apply if you don’t have after school sports or activities during the week. You will be helping us with washing up, mopping floors, using a vacuum cleaner and cleaning down the shop and kitchen. 🧹🧼 If you don’t like that sort of thing this won’t be the job for you! 🙈... Potentially in time this could lead onto working in the Café with more hours, serving, making coffees and all the fun stuff! 😁🤗 If you’re keen please message us ....... 😊

Last night saw our very first evening as Après des Heures Supper Club, it couldn’t have gone better, I’m immensely proud of our Café Rayner team. It was exactly how we envisaged, ambiance, conversations, laughter and the most amazing three course dinner cooked by our chef William. We will be hosting an evening on Friday 8th March 7pm at Café Rayner. Our new chef William will be cooking a 3 course dinner which will be a celebration of the forthcoming spring. Everything on our menu will be as fresh as can possibly be and locally sourced. Combined with a delightful candle lit atmosphere and excellent service we know it will be a very special evening indeed.
