This restaurant is exactly what you would expect of an Italian eatery in Italy. The waiters are typically Italian - macho, dark and with a great Italian accents. The cooks don't speak any English and concoct mouth-watering pieces. We made a very specif order, as one of us has several intolerances and the waiter made sure we received exactly what we asked for. This did involve a couple of returns and re-runs, but ultimately we consumed precisely what we asked for. The potato pizza is a particular stand out - it is not a regular on most restaurant menus. The desserts were good too, but we were very disappointed that there was no Tiramisu. It turns out it is such a popular option it finishes off almost as soon as its made. The restaurant has a great ambience - you get people dinning and at the same time the delivery guy restocking the fridge. There are no toilets in the restaurant - if you are disabled, you are allowed to use the local pub's lavatory, if you can climb stairs - there are ladies/gents next door (up a flight of maybe 25+ stairs) that are shared with a printing
studio located there. The prices were very reasonable and you feel well fed at the end of your meal. Ultimately, when you leave, all you want to do is to lift this place up and transport it to your local town/village, so you can enjoy this little piece of Italy more often than just when you are in Cardiff.

This place is great -- super food , wonderful friendly and skilled service and nice wine..what is not to like! Go eat and enjoy.
Absolutely delicious Italian food fresh made before your eyes, really really good with interesting fresh daily specials and regular classics too.
Book first --this place is small and intimate and well attended --do not risk missing out book in advance

Best Italian restaurant in Cardiff. Intimate atmosphere and incredibly friendly, helpful staff make this a great place for meeting friends. The food is outstanding..I had linguine with seafood....so good...flavourful but still subtle and I would have happliy licked the plate clean if I had not been in polite company! Would highly recommend...do book in advance though as its always busy.
