User

visiting the area and have stopped for coffee in the dog friendly garden of the cafe. Coffee and the accompanying cake ( which I can never resist ) were gorgeous and obviously home made. went back next day for lunch and was again served fresh home cooked food-soup, sandwiches and toasties were enjoyed by the family. Definetly worth another visit and all praise to the volunteers who help run it . ÔøΩÔøΩÔøΩ

What a lovely place! Delicious lunches, amazing cakes, local craft and friendly staff. Wonderful!

User

Visited for the first time today and was super impressed with both the cake and the lovely welcoming atmosphere! Will definitely be back again for lunch. Thanks for accommodating us even though you were due to be closing! My little boy loved chatting away to you all! Diolch x

User

This is the best cafe around. Took our pensioners group there this week for lunch,26 of them, this is the third time they have been and it was wonderful . Can not recommend this place enough

This is my favourite Caffi to go to. Amazing, friendly staff, who are volunteers, and the best home cooked food and cakes.

You have got to experience the service and friendly, welcoming atmosphere. Get yourselves down there. You won’t regret it.

User

This has been by far the best little coffee shop, in a most unexpected place. The staff are all volunteers which makes the service second to none!! The cakes are devine the food is quite spectacular and the surrounding areas, stunning. If you haven't already, get yourself down here!

User

Thankyou for the afternoon tea. Everyone enjoyed it and the food was lovely

User

Probably one of the nicest breakfasts that we've ever had anywhere, good locally sourced ingredients and plenty of them all served on a nice warm plate. My wife and I will definitely be back, we'll probably try the aftermoon teas next time. A lovely place staffed by lovely volunteers.

User

Lovely little cafe with excellent food. Run mostly by volunteers. Cakes - especially fresh baked scones are fab!

User

Just been for an afternoon tea. Delicious and superb value for money! £17.50 for two. Sandwich, scone, cake and tea/coffee! Had to bring the cakes home for later. Very friendly staff, nothing to much trouble. Definitely going again, probably to try the all day breakfast :)

User

It’s a shame I can only give 5stars on this review!..it’s my favourite cafe in the area by far....always very friendly and excellent service...also a very valued asset to the community holding event evenings too. To all the volunteers well, done and keep up the good work

User

I have been three times and enjoyed all the visits. The jacket potatoes and soup are lovely. The staff are very friendly and obliging. Bought two mugs as the merchandise is very reasonable. Love looking at the local artwork. A fabulous example of how a community can come together and achieve success. Well done everyone. Will be returning.

User

Had full English breakfast there yesterday....excellent. The sausages in particular were great and all for a bargain price...all in all very hard to beat quality of food, price and atmosphere of this cafe

User

Great friendly cafe that serve yummy homemade cakes :)

They have a huge garden too for furry customers :)

User

First visit to this community café, and definitely won't be our last! Lovely lunch in this bustling café in the heart of the village. My daughter is already asking when she can return for more Rocky Road!

User

Always call in when we come back home to visit, greeted by a warm welcome, a chat and a friendly smile. Food is absolutely yummy, fresh and indulgent (especially the cakes ÔøΩ). An absolute credit to the village and the locals for sustaining it, doing a fabulous job. Coming back with my Dad again this month and devastated that we'll miss you as only back for the weekend when you're closed ÔøΩ

User

Absolutely love this place .. only been once for lunch and once to buy a birthday card! Wonderful service, food and such welcoming staff .. can't wait to return! ÔøΩ

User

A really lovely place made very welcome and will go again as I learn something new every time I go there

User

This coffee shop has been bought by the community and is run by volunteers. The ladies working that day were very welcoming. The tea was nicely presented and the Scones were warm and scummy. We will definitely call again
