Regulars to Chapter will know that we are as famous for our café as we are for our culture. ‘Sïo’ is the Welsh word for ‘buzzing like a bee’ and we think it is a fitting name for our artisan café in a contemporary, creative and energetic location.
FOOD
Caffi Sïo is one of a few independently-owned dining experiences amongst all the chain restaurants on offer in Cardiff Bay. It is a place where you can socialise, work and create in a comfortable, relaxing and inclusive environment whilst enjoying our homemade menu of quality local produce, the finest coffee and food to satisfy all palates. Culture vultures will be able to enjoy some of Chapter’s most iconic brunch and lunch dishes and alongside the a-la-carte offerings there will be a ‘quick lunch’ menu, perfect for those working in the Bay and on a tight lunch-time schedule.

We always have amazing food at Caffi Sïo - it's the go-to place when my parents visit Cardiff! The Croque Madame at brunch is absolutely fantastic.
I would, however, like to see black pepper and white sugar on the tables, and loose-leaf breakfast tea (rather than tea bags), but that's being picky!
Visited on 18th Feb with the girls and it was fabulous! Our host Jacob was amazing and the prosecco kept flowing! Food was delicious! Will definitely be back again!
This place is so underestimated! Not many people have heard of it but I would definitely recommend coming here for bottomless prosecco brunches/afternoon tea. Lovely, friendly staff!
This place is amazing. I have been so many times for bottomless prosecco afternoon tea and each time it has been perfect. Any dietary/fussy eater requests have been fulfiled with no fuss and everyone is made to feel so welcome. The gentleman who does the majority of the service is amazing and so friendly and bends over backwards to ensure you have the perfect afternoon. Recommend this place to everyone. Popped in today for lunch with a friend. Reading google reviews I am thrilled to say the chorizo hash was awesome, avocado toast looked amazing. Loving the jugs of water available in the fridge. The welcome and service was spot on (freshly cooked to order - fabulous). Looking forward to visiting again - thanks guys
Had an fab afternoon here for one of my friends birthday, fantastic bottomless afternoon tea - food and drink were excellent. Staff were so friendly and welcoming and this helped us all enjoy our time here. Massive thank you to Jacob and Mikey who were great hosts. Had a lovely lunch there yesterday. My first visit. I had Welsh Croque Madam - a three cheese and leek toastie topped with Welsh rarebit and a fried egg with olives, sun-dried tomatoes and lettuce leaves on the side. It's a credit to the Chef how delicious it is. It's so tasty you get lost in all the lovely flavours. The food is freshly cooked. They have jugs of cold water you can help yourself to. Staff are friendly. Great views if sitting on the side of the Millennium Centre and the fountains or you can sit outside on a sunny day. Will definitely be going back to try out something else from the menu. Would definitely recommend. �

Had a fabulous afternoon tea. Jakub was a fantastic host and looked after us well. He was just the right amount of attentive.
The food was exceptional. The chocolate brownies were the best I have ever tasted.
Gluten free food available was if a large selection with their own gluten free menu.
All staff were very professional and welcoming. Such a fantastic place. We will be regulars here without doubt
First visit yesterday. Staff extremely helpful I was really happy to learn there was a gluten free menu too, as a Coeliac it is often difficult when you just need a light bite/snack with a drink. I will definitely make it a regular stop �
