Cain Valley Hotel

Good food good service, pleasant attentive staff.... and in beautiful mid Wales.
We will definitely be back!
Old hotel in a small country town. Staff could do with more training re welcoming people and customer care. Lovely place for walking, room comfortable if a bit dated. Food not very exciting.
Very pleasant hotel staff. Rooms are fine with all the amenities.
Excellent value for the price: we paid £40 each (two sharing a twin room) for bed & breakfast. The staff were mostly young, but seemed to have been well trained and to know their jobs. They were friendly and helpful, as was the proprietor, and the room was spacious and comfortable. It was clean, the beds were comforable, and everything worked. The breakfast was excellent. Dinner was good value, with starters mostly under £5, main dishes mostly under £10, and the price for the beer was the lowest I have paid in a long time. It is an old building, so there was hardly a level floor in the place, but that was part of its charm.
Overnight stop whilst seeing nearby lakes and waterfalls, lovely old building, very happy pleasant staff, would happily stay again just for the shower!!
Had a nice dinner there perfectly happy but nothing in particular stood out
Nice local pub. I've never stayed in any of the rooms but the pub is very friendly and homely. One of the best in the area. Ideal for people visiting the area.
Amazing hotel and friendly staff. Rooms are dated but this won't stop you enjoying the Welsh beauty.
Only there 10 mins to collect family
