***********maternity leave ************* Hi everyone I just wanted to keep you all updated.. this weekend will be the last weekend the shop is fully stocked with fresh cakes.. I am 9 months pregnant so I am only working one day next week as my little girl will be arriving shortly after 💖 Mrs Balloons will still be at the shop towards end of the weeks and will have my diary with her!! 🎄 I'm Taking a few weeks off and easing myself back in towards the end of October!! 🎃 👻 I just want to say a massive thank you to all my customers old and new (Please share)

It’s with my deepest apologised that this weekends cake have to be cancelled, my little girl was rushed into hospital early hours this morning and needs my full attention over the next few days. It’s hard for me to let anyone down and I feel awful for doing so.. sorry Gemma x

Ordered a cake for my mums 60th and Gemma did a fantastic job. The cake was lemony and moist with a beautiful finish and went down a storm at the party.

OMG! Don't bother looking anywhere else! Gemma made a fantastic cake for my son's 18th birthday at pretty short notice. The cake looked absolutely amazing and when we cut into (which we really didn't want to do!) I couldn't believe how light and moist it was. Possibly the best cake I've ever tasted! And all this while she was 6 1/2 months pregnant and working in a heatwave! Thank you so much Gemma! xxx

I had my graduation cake from Gemma and was totally delighted with it. We discussed the design, colour and flavour before hand and she delivered a perfect cake. The raspberry and white chocolate flavoured bottom tier is sensational and so moist! I would also like to take this opportunity to thank Gemma for going above and beyond to finish my cake on time as she was not in the best of health having just come out of hospital, your dedication is very much appreciated. Definitely recommend!!

I had a cake for my son's birthday and it surpassed expectations! Everyone at the party commented on how lovely the cake tasted. I would definitely recommend. X

Had a cake made for my mum’s 60th birthday I found a picture online of a cake I wanted lots of detail, different colours etc. From the start of messaging Gemma I knew it was going to be the right choice asked me what flavours I wanted, talked about colours, what I wanted written on there, she thought of everything. My mum couldn’t take her eyes off it & took a lot of coaxing to cut it but once she did it was just as beautiful inside. Highly recommended cakes by Gemma to anyone. Thank you so much for such a perfect cake x

First time using cakes by gemma and certainly wont be the last. Gemma wasn't only helpful with decision making but kept in contact with me throughout the process I sent her a image of a cake and gladly allowed her to put her own twist on it. Not only did she have a full diary she was so willing to take my challenge on for my son's 8th birthday party. When it came to collecting it I was completely blown away so was my son and all his friends and mums. I must also mention the time and detail taken on every item of his cake for the price was unbelievable as well as the chocolate sponge with fudge and caramel filling. Thank you gemma and staff you made my son one fantastic cake that he will never forget. Can't imagine what cake we will have for next year. Thanks again for being so talented and kind.

Collected a gender reveal cake from Gemma today. It was quiet simply perfect. The mum and dad to be were over the moon with it. I also have to say it tasted as good as it looked. Can't wait for next family occasion so we can visit this lovely talented lady again as I certainly won't be going anywhere else.
