great Sunday lunch

Good ale plus lagers didn't try the food.

This is a local pub for local people
If u are not a local u are not welcome here.

Not made to feel welcome for 1 second.
Manager/owner, without introducing himlesf whilst dressed as a builder demanded to know if we would be staying longer then shuffles off mid conversation.
Placing our room directly above the bar was a really nice touch.
The other 9 rooms that weren't above the bar were all empty!!! Not surprised.
The bathroom radiator looked lovely it's just a shame it had no pipes connected to it, a great wall decoration.
The breakfast consists of sausage mushroom and black pudding being deep fried And microwaved beans tomatoes and eggs.

Lovely pub and great value for money! And the place was spotless with amazing cumfy beds! Can be a little noisy, but I would accept this sleeping above a pub, but complete silence after closing time! I would definitely stay again!!!

I stay in this hotel regularly. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. The hotel is newly-furnished and there is ample parking which will take large vehicles. The bar is friendly and the food is good.

Had Sunday lunch today, very nice, home cooked, plus side a bonus, homemade dessert, very good, will be happy too go again, value for money, staff welcoming, great atmosphere 👍🏻
