Our Under 16s were the first team to qualify for the showpiece event that is the FA Wales Academy Finals day.....Now the Under 12s continue their unblemished record and have qualifed for the finals day also after demolishing Haverfordwest County AFC 8-1 at the M&P Contractors Wales Ltd 3G this morning!!
... It’s the first time we have had an u12s team reach the finals!! They will play the winner of Connah's Quay Nomads FC & TNS
The Academy Finals Day will be on Monday May 6th at Latham Park; the home of Newtown Football Club!!

WELSH SCHOOLS FOOTBALL ASSOCIATION CHAMPIONS 2018/2019
The boys went into the 2nd leg of the Final with a commanding lead of 8-1 on aggregate after a stupendous performance at the M&P Contractors Wales Ltd 3G last week.
Development time was key for us with such a lead, and we started the game with 4 u15s players.
... Cardiff & Vale SFA came out of the blocks very very quickly and registered the 1st goal of the 2nd leg on 6 minutes after a poor backpass to the keeper! It took us a while to settle into the game and we went in at half time losing 1-0
The 2nd half was a different story!! A penalty by Dylan Edwards straight after the interval made it 1-1 and we were in control. Cardiff took a surprise lead 2-1 against the run of play but the boys dug deep in the final parts of the game! U15 Swansea City Football Club product Jack Karadogan for the equaliser and bang on the end of the game Dylan Reid won a foot race to make it 3-2 to RCT!
Queue the celebrations...with us winning 11-3 on aggregate!! 🏆
We have won this cup 3 times in 4 years!! We have thoroughly enjoyed working with the RCT schools squads but it’s now time to let the independent Schools FA take over!!
What a ride it has been, but our watch has ended 🏆 🏆 🏆

NEWTOWN HERE WE COME!!
The 16s recorded a 3-0 victory this morning at the M&P Contractors Wales Ltd 3G vs a very credibly Pontardawe Football Club
Goals from Leon Thomas; Finn Jones and a tremendous solo effort from Dylan Reid made sure we reached the u16s final for the 2nd consecutive season!!
... This will be our 4th FA Wales Academy Final in 7 seasons at this age!! We have won 🏆 🏆 🏆
Next week the u12s look to emulate the 16s and reach the first ever final at that age category!!

WHAT A PERFORMANCE FROM OUR UNDER 16s
Playing against a strong Cardiff & Vale SFA who beat us 3-1 in September and have only lost 1 game this season to Merseyside Schools!
The boys have played out of their skin at the M&P Contractors Wales Ltd 3G to record an 8 (EIGHT) - 1 lead going into leg 2 on Thursday!
... One hand is on the 🏆
Probably the best performance I have seen from a team within the Academy! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
