Who has snow, in mid Wales this morning? Feel free to post a picture in comments! Its Snowing hard here at the moment, appears to be settling above 1000 feet / 300 meters or so. Warmer weather on the way.
Weather forecast for Wales from the met office website;
Early hill snow clearing, but a wet start for most with outbreaks of heavy rain (or snow!) spreading slowly northeastwards. Showers will follow, these heavy and thundery with hail. The odd glimmer of sunshine is possib...le and it will feel cold. Maximum Temperature 8 °C.
Tonight: Showers will continue at first, easing for a time before further heavy rain arrives in the south accompanied by strong winds. Generally drier further north, but cloudy for most. Minimum Temperature 3 °C.
Friday: A mixed day on Friday with outbreaks of occasionally heavy rain gradually becoming confined to the west. Eastern areas will see brighter skies where it may feel a little milder. Maximum Temperature 13 °C.
Outlook for Saturday to Monday: Generally dry and settled through the weekend and Monday with warm sunny spells, especially in the west. Thicker cloud is possible in eastern areas with some light rain and drizzle.
Next week looks unsettled, temperatures more like average for the time of year, perhaps milder in the west. As we head towards mid month it will gradually become more settled though, with the driest weather towards the west and northwest, with a good chance of high pressure dominating through to the end of the month. Wonderful and very informative trip this morning seeing lots of the beautiful sights from a fab range rover! Richard knowledgeable about Aberystwyth and local area and makes you feel very welcome.

We had a great three day tour with Richard. He is very passionate about his job. Our trip was tailor made according to our interest, we love the flexibility the tour provided. Highly recommended.

We had a day safari around the Cambrian/Ceredigion area 31August 2017. What a unique experience it was. We got to learn more about the area than we would have driving around alone. We had chance to savour the silence and stillness of nature far from the madding crowd. Thoroughly recommend this experience. First class comfort. Thanks

We had a brilliant day out today with Richard! Amazing scenery and we were so lucky with the weather. His knowledge of the area is second to none. I would definitely like to do more trips with him and would thoroughly recommend to anyone.

Visited Aberystwyth for the first time at the weekend and was pleasantly surprised to find that there is a lot going on outside of the main town.



Richard is a very friendly and knowledgeable guy and gave us a great tour of the local area.



Now I know what's on offer, I'll definitely be heading back to Aber!

My son and I had a great tour yesterday. We are based in Aberystwyth for a few days and combined the 'safari' with a trip on the Vale of Rheidol steam railway (great idea). Richard was a very friendly and knowledgeable guide.

My family had an absolutely fantastic full-day tour all round the Cambrian Mountains area today. Richard is a wonderful guide - personable, informative and a safe pair of hands behind the wheel - and the scenery is utterly spectacular! We saw amazing mountain vistas, beautiful forests, the Elan Valley dams, Devil's Bridge, and many birds of prey and other local wildlife, all from his frankly obscenely comfy Land Rover. A must-do for those visiting this part of Wales!

I have been on several trips with Cambrian Safaris. All were to beautiful, peaceful places. I loved the journeys in the comfy Land Rover Discovery through wonderfully varied countryside to remote mountain tops, lakes and lush valleys. Just as good were the walks along tracks that I would never have found on my own. Picnics in quiet romote places with views to die for. The Cambrian Mountains seen with Cambrian Safaris provide a unique experience to be savoured and valued, so peaceful and enchanting. Cannot wait for my next Cambrian Safari.

I can not say enough great things about our day spent 'seeing the sights' with Richard; our amazing guide!! Myself & three friends didn't have any expectations, since this was a completely new experience for all of us. It turned out to be a fun, yet informative, perfectly gaged sightseeing experience & one, I for sure, look forward to repeating in the future!!

Had a great afternoon out in Elan Valley surrounded by beautiful countryside, stunning views and lots of wildlife, even saw kites and buzzards pretty close up!

Very relaxed trip, and Richard was very knowledgable and friendly, tailored the route to suit us and we had an excellent trip around the valley. Made all the better by his extremely comfortable Landy :)

Had a brilliant half day with our guide Richard he is very knowledgeable and we saw some pretty spectacular sites. There definitely are some stunning views in west Wales. Best way to see all that west Wales has to offer. Thank you Richard....

Excellent morning out with the "aged ones" as an early Father's Day treat. Great to learn more about the area where my father was born and spent most summers. Spectacular views, fantastic hill side tracks. Hugely knowledgable guide. Strongly recommended.

Despite being locals to the area, Richard took us to many places we'd never visited before and around the most amazing landscapes. We were absolutely stunned at the beauty of the countryside around us, and in the super Landrover having the ability to go off the main roads and onto the hidden tracks.



Well worth a tour with Richard, who has a fantastic wealth of knowledge about the area and is a merit to the tourism industry of Ceredigion!
