After months of hard work and fundraising, Cambrian's Walking Group have been successful in obtaining a defibrillator for their group and others at Cambrian.
We are all very proud and excited for our walkers who take their health and safety very seriously and continue to seek out training opportunities when ever they can.

Volunteer Rob Jones continues to attract new faces to Walking Football. Interest is growing in terms of the array of folk who have sampled the sessions. Rob has created a balance of fun, fitness and football as friendships have also blossomed.
Rob has also built up a bank of regulars and those who pop in and out of the sessions - when commitments allow.
... Our weekly itinerary is helping the new world of Walking Football flourish in the Clydach community. With the lighter nights and summer on the way it is an ideal opportunity to get out in the fresh air and share in the ballwork and banter. 📣 Volunteer Rob Jones sharing his enthusiastic write up about Walking Rugby 📣
"Seasoned and successful walking rugby outfit Kingswood of Bristol came down to Wales to meet a combined union of Cambrian 3G and Pontypridd players at Sardis Road.
A fabulous turn up of mixed teams took to the pitch and the outcome was a fine display of a rapidly growing sport. The local lads also learned about the finer points of the rules and regulations associated with this relatively new forma...t as their more experienced opponents included some qualified referees.
All in all it was a magnificent morning that moved this activity further forward and the on field fun was followed by snacks and drinks back at the club house - many thanks to everyone involved with the preparation of the food and beverages".
Hopefully, Kingswood will return to the region for a venture to the Rhondda where they can visit Cambrian Lakeside for some light refreshments and spectacular scenery!
