Canada Lodge And Lake Description
Canada Lodge is a stone built lodge situated in private grounds overlooking Canada Lake. It can be found on the outskirts of Creigiau village, a few miles northwest of Cardiff and a few miles from Junction 34 of the M4. With two function rooms, balconies and lawn terracing, it is ideal for everything from informal celebrations to exclusive weddings. It also makes a stunning venue for corporate team events and corporate hospitality. It is a truly unique venue in a stunning setting.

Many of you loved the set up today so we want to share it with those of you who couldn’t make it. Our curved back chivari chairs were used for the ceremony and a vibrant raspberry colour sashes decorated the chair covers beautifully downstairs for the wedding breakfast set up! @ Canada Lodge and Lake

The flowers are in full bloom thanks to this beautiful weather! We’re loving it and making the most of this heat wave. We could do with an ice cream though!

When you first go to Canada Lodge, it becomes very apparent that everything is relaxed. And until your big day has come and gone you won’t understand this. From first thing in the morning on our big day we had they’re undivided attention, nothing was to big or small. Our wedding co-ordinator was Rachel, and she was fantastic, we could not have done the set up any better ourselves. We was so happy seeing all our decorations just has we had planned them. The Spiros caterers was so professional, the canapés after the service was presented truly fantastic, the caters were stood with trays offering the chosen canapés to our guests, the wedding breakfast was presented beautifully, the 4 courses was plenty full and delicious. Again nothing was to much trouble. Everywhere we went (the bridal party) one of the staff Morgan was always contactable, can I just say he was brilliant. I believe he was working the front of house and what a job he done. I cannot leave a negative comment about our perfect day! I’d like to say a thank you to the whole team, nothing was to big or to small and for everyone waiting for there big day to come, have faith in this venue, they truly are a wonderful team!
Went to my nephews wedding here yesterday and it's a beautiful place, the staff helped make the day very special and the views are perfect I would def recommend it for a wedding it's perfect.
This place .. it was the most perfect wedding venue , its a beautiful venue with incredible veiws. Nothing was to much , mad our wedding day perfect. Staff were amazing all very polite and hardworking. Would highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a venue for a special occasion .. its a venue where all our family and friend still talk about now and its been just over a year since we got married at canada lake lodge x
The happiest place on earth! We got married here on 15.09.2017. Everything was perfect from start to finish. The wedding planners put us at ease at every meeting, they had every aspect of the day, and the build up, completely under control which meant we could really enjoy every second of our wedding day. Everything went smoothly- from early morning to late at night. If we could do it all again we would. Our guests all said how much of a hidden gem this venue is. We will hopefully be back to spend our anniversary in one of the beautiful cabins. We cannot thank you enough. Love, Mr and Mrs Bennett xxxxxxx

Spent all day at a friend's wedding the staff were friendly and helpful the food was excellent and it's a really lovely place to have a wedding and the cost of drinks was very reasonable
Simply amazing. I’m not a typical bride, I didn’t find the planning fun and and the little details I was finding stressful. I asked the venue if I could put all my decorations in a box and let their imaginations run wild with it. What they did was amazing. I put my full trust in their experience and was not disappointed. The layout was a surprise for myself and my groom on the day, as they did everything. It was perfect. The day was effortless. We were guided through the day by the staff and felt completely relaxed from the moment we said I do!
Spiro’s the caterers were incredible. The food was amazing, the chicken went down well and was commented on by many. They even kept a selection of canapés back for us, knowing we wouldn’t get our hands on any as we would be busy with our guests.
The venue itself is beautiful and we highly recommend.
Second review for these guys. One year ago we got married at this absolutely stunning venue. It literally is the perfect place to marry the person you love. One year on, my husband secretly arranged with Canada lake to hire the very same cabin we had on our wedding night. Carly, chris & the team were equally as fantastic as they were on our special big day. They helped my husband make it a truly personal & special time for us both. Really appreciate the time you take to engage with our day. Thank you for personal touches... even down to the knife & fork. See you at our next big milestone.
Just want to say a huge thank you to everyone at Canada Lodge. Our wedding day was absolutely perfect. From the planning to the actual big day everyone was so helpful.
Spiros catering was out of this world. Everything was delicious and the staff who worked on our wedding day from spiros were incredible. Nothing was to much trouble for them. Can't remember his name but the main man from spiros who went above and beyond for us thank you for everything you made our day!!!

I dont even know where to begin. The venue ia stunning, but what makes it is the staff. You went above and beyond. We laughed in every meeting and on our wedding day you were all incredible. It was the best day of our lives and all our guests loved it aswell. Thank you so much x
Hands down the most beautiful wedding venue I’ve ever been to; photos don’t do it justice! Waking up to the view of the lake this morning was the icing on the cake. It was an honour to celebrate my best friends wedding here. Special thanks to Morgan and Peter behind the bar, thank you for looking after us all night!
Cant thank everyone enough at Canada Lodge. Right from the word go with booking our wedding, Carly & Dawn were truly amazing, made us feel so comfortable and content with planning everything, felt like we had known them for years with all the banter we all had lol. Our wedding day was out of this world, food was gorgeous & the decoration of the lodge for our ceremony and the wedding breakfast looked absolutely stunning, im gutted its all over. Thank you so much for making our wedding day perfect xx
Canada lodge and lake what a place. Sophie and I had and absolutely brilliant Wedding here on the 9th of April 2018. All the staff were amazing on the day and a massive thank you must go to Nichola, Rachel, Laura and Dawn for all their hard work in making our day run smoothly and as we wanted it to be. Ryan and the staff from Spiros were really friendly and helpful. The food was amazing and definitely a 5 �.
